was going to get the Halfords 14l which is same price with current discount, but the Halfords handle and flap seem really flimsy ( 2 of the display units were broken) this also supports mains power. 
seems to be performing well so far! Put my Govee Bluetooth thermostat in to monitor it.

    this shows cooling with room temp at 20C, then I put the thermometer in the cool box and turned it on.

    An elderly neighbour recovering from surgery is looking for a quiet small fridge to put in bedroom to store things like opened milk and other fridge stuff etc for few months. Would something like this be any good or is it not cold enough for this?

    don’t think it would be suitable, they’re not designed for 24/7 use.
    It also won’t go as cold as a fridge, and has a fan on constantly.
