I've had the Ryobi 18v blower (R18TB-0) since 2021 which was a bargain at the time @ £29.03 (currently £59.99) while waiting for this Bosch blower to drop in price.

Finally bagged it on Amazon for £48 last year and you know what?

The Ryobi is far better IMHO.

OK, the Bosch does come with some accessories, but the power button on the Bosch is in an awkward place and is either full-on or off.

Whereas the Ryobi has a variable trigger in a more ergonomic position (where a trigger should be) and can be used to vary the power on any of the 3 power levels.

I honestly think Bosch missed a trick by not having a trigger in a more ergonomic position, but doubt they change it now.

Horses for courses I guess, but being a Bosch Professional Fanboi, I still believe the Ryobi blower to be the better of the two.

    Just my two penneth! (edited)

I got one, useful for clearing dust from work area, tools and dry leaves off the patio and grass but struggles with much more

    Definitely does a job though

That's why it's called a blower and not a "Leaf blower". I have one too, it works well for just normal dust issues but will be defeated by the first wet leaf lol

I have this. It is a good piece of kit to have for the price. Especially if you already have Bosch kit. It is power hungry though so use it with 5ah batteries to get decent run time. I use it to clean out the filters on the vacuum cleaners. They work brilliantly after

If someone doesn't have the Bosch kit - get badaptor and use it with any battery. Or make permanent conversion with AliExpress battery connectors (you'll loose warranty of course)
