The MGK3420 takes about 10 hours to charge, to run for 50 minutes.
The MGK3421, which is also in the same link and surpisingly cheaper, takes 1-2 hours to fully charge, to run for 50 minutes as well.

I bought the MGK3421 as a present for my uncle.
    Thank you for sharing.

All the Braun MGK3___ (Series 3) trimmers have a Ni-MH battery which does take 10+ hours to charge I'm afraid.

You need a Braun Series 5 (MGK5___) trimmer to get the Lithium battery that takes 1 hour to charge.

The Braun BeardTrimmer 3, which looks a lot like the one in the post, has the same 10hr charge for a measly 50min run. What's worse, you can't use it when it's charging (unlike the Remingtons I've bought in the past & should have stuck with) so you can be halfway through a trim, run out of charge & have to wait until there's enough charge to carry on. I expected a lot more from Braun. Would not buy again.

I have the series 5 (from Currys currys.co.uk/pro…tml) and it's got Li-Ion battery whereas this is NiMH. Probably explains the lengthy charging time for this one.
I would recommend the series 5.
