All Braun Discounts, Offers and Sale - October 2018
Yes they do expire and have a expiry date but just add anything to your account just in case. You can become a student, most of us are £14 NUS card, you need either a free course or a cheap paid for one or as some hot dealers do just say they are somewhere they don’t check and 6 months free amazon and £39 a year for three years.
Thanks - all these years of shopping with Amazon and I never knew about these - so I guess I can add any useful ones and they will be applied should I make a purchase for the produc at a later date....wish I was a student, looks like you get good perks.
there had been a few vouchers on the amazon voucher page, they don't expire when there are offers on and for the 7 series they were still valid over Black Friday, added that another student discount which they had at the time (most of us here are cough students) and it took it down to around £56. In the end I got it for free because they were supposed to deduct the price from gift vouchers I had on the account but they didnt so told me to just keep it after trying to fix it for a couple of weeks. https://www.amazon.co.uk/vouchers-coupons/b/ref=sv_gb_3?ie=UTF8&node=5522783031
wow that was cheap - could you please advise what other additional discounts you were able to apply - just trying to plan for if it comes up again this year. thanks.....
Disposables as recommended by Plaster weekly... :D You can't beat wet shaving for closeness but early morning electric razors are just quicker...
Could have done with 1,
Ooof that ended quick! I managed to buy 2 though so :)
Now showing £34.99
Brilliant! Thank you!
Here's the correct link : https://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/braun-beard-trimmers-1

Add £1.99 onto the Groupon Price to cover delivery. Good price tho
Why not post a clickable link?
good deal for now, but bought last black friday 54.99
good deal for now, but bought last black friday 54.99.
The newer genius range has the lithium battery. This has the older NiMH. The difference being approximately 2 days extra usage, and a slightly slimmer profile.
Was never asked about that but do I agree, yes said the same in the other oral b thread. However would say all brushes are supposed to have the same highest spin but we have two of these ones a black and white one and two lesser models and we both think they do spin at slightly higher speeds it’s all in the mind unless the other ones haves slowed since new, though both are the same age and use. But yes if we bought again it would be the newer lesser models.
The timer or the travel case? I’m sure the travel case doesn’t add much to the cost (though as far as I can see the 670 doesn’t normally come with one) but that doesn’t make it a “useless accessory”.
Received mine today and was a bit disappointed that it came with a 2 pin plug, even though it states so in the description. It's common practice, apparently but I didn't know. Thought I'd try my luck and try and blag an adapter and they ended up refunding me 20%. Might be worth a shot for others, but it probably depends on who reads your email.
I was referring to myself having the cheap one, not you!
That's why intellect assists one not to jump to conclusions. I have the one in the pic, I ordered a second. Now, it's not always that I brush only for 2 mins, so that's where your whole premise falls flat on its face chipping its front teeth; It's much easier to look at a timer than to remember how many buzzes. I do take it on holiday (very rarely), but working abroad, it certainly helps when I'm day dreaming about anything other than the day's agenda to keep track of time. Of course it's 'free' country, I merely wanted to comment that I too thought the clock an unnecessary extra, although, I have come to appreciate it being there.
Not at all! After seconds 30, 60, and 90, it pauses momentarily twice to create the buzzing sensation. This tells you when to swap corner (I personally go for bottom left, bottom right, top left, top right- but it's a free country, pick any one of the almost limitless (Ok, 16) combinations). Then after 120 seconds, it works to the lowest common denominator and assumes (presumably because you've got the cheap version and therefore must be low intellect) that you cannot remember how many corners you've done or pauses you've counted, and pauses momentarily not 2, but 4 times! Foolproof. And works in the dark. And when you've not taken your clock on holiday with you.
It's not the same. I would not want a cheap buzz every 30 seconds; I am I to remember every cheap buzz? (cheeky)
Heat Added Good Post x
Anyone happy with it? Amazon reviews doesn't look quite well...
Got this on Amazon Prime Day for slightly more in anticipation for baby. Have use it a few times and it's quite good.
Had this for over year for baby and it's been excellent. Caps purchased off Amazon for around £2 per pack. Recommended and this is a decent price
Reviews not good
Christmas present for the wife sorted
The head are bad on these If your looking for a good trimmers Philips are good
Those reviews on Amazon aren't good.
These are terrible! Only thing that’s decent on it is the nose hair trimmer
Good tenants are like gold nuggets. Very precious and very hard to find, especially when I live 8000 miles away. They need to be looked after carefully. No, I had never met them until 6 weeks ago when I offered them the place. I find East Europeans tend to be hard working and reliable.
I had bought several different ‘cheap’ thermometers for my first born, and each one gave a wildly different result. I have found the Braun one accurate and consistent (and cheaper than the sum of all the other ‘cheap’ ones).
The price seems a total rip off. Buy this https://www.amazon.co.uk/BeiLan-Thermometer-Measurement-Accuracy-Axillary/dp/B07DK6J263 Using discount code: NLQH-HKJQVW-5H7CWK for £3.52 (I've not checked if the code works) Or buy something from the "Customers also shopped for" section, if you want something more sophisticated.
I have the 7 series. The protective case is useful as keeps it clean and can store the caps in it. The traffic light age gauge is also good, the backlight is annoying in the dark.
Are you related to them? Or are you just one of those very very rare nice landlords ?
Fair warning to anyone buying - check out the replacement head situation... I have one and the shave is great when the heads are new but Braun are really on their arses when it comes to the reliability and availability of replacements...
Good price, just ordered (y)
I've seen this in Costco for £110 without the cleaning station, however that was a few weeks ago and probably sold out now.
Why is this cold. Cheapest price for a top of the range shaver.
I think its a general comment when comparing all brands. It's by no means the best but certainly not the worst.
which models batteries last longer? do you know if it's referring to other models of oral b brushes or different brands? i always thought all the oral b models had the same battery capacity
yes. 2000 is the lowest model with all the basic pulsation and rotation settings. all models 2000 and above same with basic settings. 650 has significantly lower basic specs.
Thanks op. Currently using 2 old ones that last a couple of days if I am lucky!
Superdrug have one at a similar price atm https://www.superdrug.com/Toiletries/Dental/Electrical-Toothbrush/Philips-Sonicare-Clean-Care-Electric-Toothbrush/p/754961
Reviews question it's accuracy
Good price as I paid £17 for this in Asda whilst in a rush last week. Was refunded when it turned out to be faulty and either turned itself off during measurements or didn't come on at all during power up and just let out a non stop fast clicking sound instead.
If quidco pays out,great
Yes. The razor is to remove long hair before use of ipl. Eventually the hair stops growing with ipl. Ipl does work. It takes time to reach this stage but each full treatment is barely an hour or you can do each area at a time. I wouldnt recommend using a razor but use waxing or epilator and wait a few days whilst there is some regrowth before zapping with ipl.
Isn't the point of ipl that you don't need a razor? :/
Good brush (Li-ion battery) though this is the most you should pay for it (Oral B RRP is a bad joke). £2 extra for the 3 pin to 2 pin converter is not such good value. If you're prepared to charge it twice as often (ie every week) there are still plenty of the 3D Ni-Mh ones around; £19.99 at Savers, B&M and elsewhere (models 600/650/670). They don't have the presure sensor though and that's one of the extra features sometimes worth having.
Heat added, Bought the black one yesterday from Argos for £31.99 but looks like it's gone back up to £39.99 now
I bought the black one from amazon on the the 8th for £30.99. Quidco sucks theswe days in my opinion. Hardly tracks
you cant include cashback in the price its not guaranteed edit: mods have changed it
I found that cash back and posted on here the other day.great work with the groupon posts.and of course the 20% voucher is an added bonus.
Overpriced Braun - not voting hot or cold - but got a generic digital stick thermometer from Home Bargains for £1 - tested against mercury thermometer and was spot on. Why pay more (y)
Funny you should say that. I have considered the Oneblade several times in the past (as an alternative to my growing collection of Merkurs which include a Futur, Mergress and of course the Slant.) I only use feathers currently. If I do take the Philips plunge I’ll let you know.
It would be interesting to get your opinion on the Philips Oneblade. I love mine and use it more than DE or straight shaving now but I'm worried about the longevity of the heads. I've been considering getting an electric Braun but I have tough hair and sensitive skin and most razors pull and pluck rather than cut (even Merkur slant bar DE with anything less than a Feather blade). It's not super smooth but it's completely devoid of irritation.
I’m primarily a DE wet shaver. This obviously takes more time than an electric shave but is closer and longer lasting. However at evenings and weekends or when I’m in a hurry I use an electric shaver (the main reason being that I can be doing other things whilst shaving.) ive been through all the usual suspects. Philips rotary. Panasonic. Etc etc. Settled on a Remington for many years which could deal with my heavy stubble and 5 o’clock shadow like no other. Then I chanced upon Braun. I’ve had the 3, 5 and 7 series. The higher the number the better the shave. Quite seriously the 9 series is a no-brainier at this price. The 9 series is the best electric shaver I’ve had.
Wha products would you recommend?
With the right routine, you can achieve the closest, smoothest, most comfortable shave imaginable. Takes bit of time, the right products and practice. The results are a smoother shave, and less irritation than an electric shaver.
I think you should delete this deal, it’s so cold ... I’m getting frost bites from it (lol)
That is without the cleaning station
Groupon selling it for £80
picked up the shaver today tried a dry shave and the results are good so far but time will tell.
Agreed. Purchased a Panasonic 2 years ago which is still going strong and gives a great close shave.
Is a wet dry electric shaver give a best shave dry or in the shower with foam or gel ? Thankyou for your help
Was looking at this one, which was under £100 inc VAT at Costco yesterday: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Braun-9260PS-Electric-Shaver-Charging/dp/B076C9JMFL/ref=sr_1_1_s_it?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1536307132&sr=1-1&keywords=9260ps Doesn't have the dock thing but I have one from an old series 5 but not sure if it would fit? Keep buying electric shavers though and then when they start to pull I look at new heads and sometimes better to buy a new one
I still prefer the Panasonic Arc shavers. Closest shave any electric shaver has given me. My mates even shaved a stuffed badger at a ski resort with it. Ask the badger how close the shave was. Looks like a skunk now though (horror) .
Don't worry EU I am sure is already on to this working out the max cc a shaver will be allowed to have...
Maybe a bit to powerful for my face? I mean my car just under 2000cc
Was £95 a few weeks ago, pathetic!
I only use the Pro-Clean mode on the Genius 9000 + Purple Lighting on this toothbrush.
I have one they are defo not worth this amount of money in my opinion!
As BelleMorte says regularly below £100, and if you can't wait Argos are selling it cheaper than Boots today: http://www.argos.co.uk/product/8335588 Oral-B/Braun have a lot of form with fake retail prices and "half-price" offers!
Initianlly, I thought this deal is for Dyson hair dryer :P
