I recently bought the Cascade bathroom mixer tap from this eBay seller and couldn't believe how heavy (1.85kg)/substantially made it is taking into account how little it cost.

Seems to be Bristan's no frills range but they must be happy enough with its performance/durability to give a 5 year warranty.
My guess is they have launched this range in an attempt to compete with the no name taps being bought by lots of people. And at this price I can't see the logic of buying a no name now.
