I've got an older model of this. Little by little, it became temperamental, and it takes forever to print or gives errors. The ink and paper are not cheap, but I always managed to get them at an ok price via ebay bidding or purchased 3rd party. For my model, there are 2 types of paper/ink. One comes in a blue box, one in orange. However, it seems only the blue one works, despite the fact that both are advertised as compatible. I see on Amazon website both suggested for this printer. Read before you buy and do your research, as I think that info is wrong.
Ultimately, this became a gimmick for me. I used it at the beginning, but little by little, it ended up at the back of the cupboard. Apart from the high cost of ink and paper, the frustrating part is that it takes too long to print if you do like me, saving 100 pictures to print at once. It works quicker if I put the pictures from my phone to a usb stick/sd card, but that defeats the object. The communication between the app and the printer is not great. Also, some pictures are not recognised, despite the fact they were all taken with the phone and they are the same format. I never purchased a battery for mine, as the battery was almost the same price as the printer. The charging brick is way too big and heavy in comparison with the printer.
Mine will go to charity. I think I paid about £70 on sale for it, but this was years ago. (edited)

Do you know roughly how much each photo ends up effectively costing based on paper and ink?
