Are stainless kettles healthier than plastic?
I’ve been using plastic for decades and I don’t seem to have any I’ll effects.

I think it is hard to conclude if the kettle affected your health or not. There are lots of health conditions we don't know what caused them, or we don't know that we have them. Long-term, 'silent' effect, you may find out about them when you're older.
Just came from abroad, where I had a 'full check' on my blood as opposed to the very basic check I have at my surgery. Some results came with warnings. I was not aware I could have such issues. Based on this, the GP here asked me to repeat the tests in the UK.

But yes, in theory, hot and plastic don't go well together. I've watched a documentary yesterday suggesting not to put hot stuff in plastic containers and use wood or stainless steel spatulas with hot food instead of plastic. Saying this, unfortunate convenience takes over, and I often forget about such things. (edited)

Genuinely one of the best, most rock solid pieces of kitchen equipment I've ever bought. Stainless steel, no mucking around, no daft features only useful ones... just put water in and boil it. It's up there with the Tesco/George own brand toasters for the best "cheaper but better than most" kitchen appliance award for me.

Appears to be a great deal for people who prefer not to have hot water from plastic kettles. Looks a lot more expensive that what it is and from experience, Cookworks stuff performs and lasts just as well as stuff double the price. Heat to OP!

It seems to have a plastic level gauge and filter, both of which will be in contact with the hot water.

The window showing the fill level looks to still be plastic. But still, better than most especially at this price. Heat!
