It's important to note that it hits 3200mhz at 1.2v rather than the standard 1.35v. This is important on some OEM locked motherboards that only run at jdec/xmp settings from 1.2 v. CL 22 is standard in these machines. Mine is a Lenovo T5 with a proprietary locked B550 board. If you use these sticks and feed them 1.35v you're very likely able to get those timings way down in an unlocked motherboard.

    TLDR: Good for prebuilds.

Crucial say warranty voided if push past 1.2v.

Bit slow at CL22? Will it affect gaming?

Is it worth paying for the Corsair vengeance 3200mhz cl16 at £62 from Amazon?

Also are ram prices going up or down soon? (edited)

Cas Latency has a relatively minor impact on gaming, it may slightly increase the 1% lows but otherwise the difference is fairly negligible.

As long as your motherboard accepts the CL16 to run at the required voltage then I'd probably pick that up anyway (some OEMs like the Legion T5 I own don't).

I've got the 64gb kit of this, can't remember where I got it lol. I put it in a i7 9700k, b365 system and was shocked when I booted onto the bios

    What was the shock?

will this work in any motherboard that accepts DDR4? (accepting that it may throttle down if the board's usual ram is 2400 or whatever)
