We make our Virgin Oak the traditional way, using 100% local, Scottish ingredients, our own water and our own electricity
Our whisky is aged in 100% American Oak casks before being transferred to brand new, straight from the cooperage ‘virgin oak’ casks to finish for the last 9-12 months.
The result of this finish is a spicier, sweeter dram, with unexpected maturity for a younger whisky

No age, probaby rough as hell....

Imagine thinking an age statement is some kind of confirmation of quality.

There are loads of really good NAS bottles and shelves full of poor malts with age statements.

A great whisky for the price - I couldn't say which one I preferred tasting this side-by-side with the Deanston 12 year old, so will be saving my pennies in future by buying the Virgin Oak!
