    What is the niche for this compared to the dot? At first glance, it looks like it should be mountable inside walls or ceilings but on further inspection that doesn’t seem to be what they’re going for.

    The Pop is smaller cheaper and more basic than the dot it has no temprature sensor. The dots sound is a bit better. In my opinion, theres not really a niche for it both very similar devices and probably come down to price and whether it's worth £10 for a slightly better device.
