Posted this in case anyone else buys frozen sliced mushrooms. Price dropped to 79p in my local farmfoods. (Plymouth). Used to be £1+.

Works out cheaper than Iceland, (500g for £1.25). Also Aldi (500g for 95p). (Thank you @Stompa for this information.)

Good price. Cheapest I usually buy is Tesco £2.60 kg normal price.

FWIW Aldi frozen mushrooms are normally 95p for 500g.

I asked the partner, she said when she Fry's them, they let off quite a bit of water, (usual with frozen mushrooms), either defrost first or fry for a small period to let off the extra water / moisture. (edited)

I can confirm that after buying these, they shed about 50% of their weight in water during and after cooking. Nowhere near as tasty as fresh, which isn't usually the case with frozen veg. Voted cold for me.

they are awful........ didn't want to say anything but you are probably better buying them fresh/ reduced on the day
