I'm tempted to get this but it says that it will only go 10 mm into masonry/steel. I have a 90 cm wide venetian blind to put up but I think (haven't opened the package yet) that the thread of the screws with it are longer than 10 mm (probably about 20 mm?). Am I right in thinking that this drill would not be suitable, if it only goes 10 mm into masonry/steel - sorry, I'm not sure if you can drill 10 mm deep, then a bit later drill a bit more to make the hole deeper? Can somebody advise me please? Thank you.

It's a maximum of 10mm drill bit diameter not the depth of the hole. You'll need your own drill bit, probably 5.5 or 6mm for a blind. (edited)

Bargain... Tempted, at the price alone.. but I already have an 18v DeWalt and B&D one and recently bought the 12v Bauker via here!
This one's 14.4v so don't expect too much with the hammer action.
