For a second there I thought it was a jacket containing 2.5 litres of water!

Ha ha I also thought it may have a concealed water pack built in

Does anyone know how waterproof the arms and hood are? Will they be the same as the main body fabric?

    It’s the same material throughout

If the sizing is the same as the Fox cycling jacket deal from Wiggle, the Large came up more like a Small/Medium

Shell waterproofs just aren't suitable for cycling and that's true of even the highest end Goretex ones. There isn't a shell fabric known which can deal with the amount of condensation that a high impact actvity produces so you'll just get soaked in your own sweat.

Spend your money on soft shell alternatives such as from Paramo, although you will find even these struggle if you cycle hard.
