Free train travel with c2c for those taking part in the London Marathon - more info here

• East London and South Essex rail firm c2c Trenitalia to provide free train travel for those taking part in this year’s London Marathon.
• c2c has announced that it will again be providing free travel right across its route for all those taking part in this year’s London Marathon on Sunday 21 April.
• To claim the free return trip, participating runners simply need to present their official race number or finisher’s medal to c2c staff, at both their departure and arrival stations.

Southeastern free train travel for London marathon runners from selected London stations to the marathon starting point - 21st April

If you’re a runner, you can travel for free on Southeastern services from the following stations to your starting point:

• London Bridge
• London Cannon Street
• London Charing Cross
• Waterloo East
• London Victoria

Just show your race number to a member of Southeastern staff at the gate line to claim your free travel.. Please note that you will still need valid train tickets for travel into London and for the rest of the day after the race.




Free TFL travel for London Marathon Participants - 21st April

• Marathon participants will receive free travel home up to 6.30pm on marathon day on the London Underground and Overground, buses and DLR.
• TfL said that a modified DLR service will start at 5.30am from Tower Gateway to Lewisham so runners arrive on time to the start line.

Complimentary Brompton bike hire for spectators supporting someone running in London marathon

• Brompton is offering spectators free bike hire so you can see the action from every point of the city.
• All supporters need to do is email brompton@wearetheromans.com with the bib number of their loved ones to receive a code that will provide complimentary Brompton bike hire for the full marathon day.

London Marathon 2024: Free recovery yoga classes

Set of 3 FREE recovery classes for you to be able to walk again after the London 2024 Marathon. Yoga Teacher for Runners, Eleanor Stowe, will take you through recovery sessions the week after the Marathon, on Monday 22, Wednesday 24 and Friday 26 at 12pm. Classes are designed for Marathon runners and focus on the joints (hips, knees and ankles), the lower back, and the legs:

• Monday: Gentle movement to unstiffen and nourish joints
• Wednesday: Stretching and gentle yoga
• Friday: Deeper stretches and strength work to support recovery

To join the class for free, send us a picture of you at the finish line with your medal to this email address after the Marathon, and you'll receive a voucher to book the livestream classes for the following days.
