The code activates a timed research that you have to complete to get the encounter. - I guess this is useful if you've not just seen one on the map, or from the snapshot encounter.
if its an encounter the IV floor will be much higher than wild 
thanks!!! Not sure how to do the times research though..
Click the little binoculars bottom right and click events at the top, then it will show a list of things you need to do to see captain pikachu
