Seems pointless paying £60 more for the solar model, especially for us in the UK?

Just a shame that the colour combination of the solar (slate grey with the orange highlights on the activity button) isn't available on the standard version.

Currently debating whether to get a 7s. I had a fenix 3 and replaced it with an instinct a couple of years ago because the size of the fenix got on my nerves but now the s versions are available....

It looks like they have nudged the price of this, and some other Fenix 7 models, down during the day. Could have sworn it was £449 this morning.

Not sure how you are getting the extra £10 off? Doesn't seem to be on my account. (edited)

Check on the prime membership section or when you buy a item it will say under it.

Decent deal. I have a fenix 5 S with a silver band. The darker ones do go for more though as they are more desirable. Makes no difference on operation but when you are paying £400+ for a watch that you wear every day you might as well have one you prefer.

    Good price!

I've been looking at buying a second hand 6 Pro for a while, given the 7 Pro was just released.

But at this price, a brand new 7 is a no brainer. I've just ordered one.

This type of charging port is a nightmare. I bought the bungs for my Garmin watch but still get intermittent charging. A lot of money down the pan if you can't charge it up again

I've had a 5 plus for years now and never had an issue. Never used those charging bungs either.

Anyone got any cheaper Garmin recommendations for someone who wants to track sleep/stress and is interested in Garmin's body battery feature?

If anyone comes across a deal on the Garmin GPSMAP 66 or 67, please post it :-)

Worth the upgrade? Currently using a Fenix 5 Plus. Thank you

I'm running the same 5 plus - depends what you use the watch for. The pulse ox is an interesting feature but it reduces the battery life. Some of the new metrics and other features could be a benefit depending how you train. Touchscreens supposed to be nice but if you're buying the Fenix you probably want the buttons anyway.

For me there's not enough reason to upgrade. (edited)

Is this a better deal than the 7x solar at 549?
    rixarena's avatar
    rixarena
So i have 3 options i cant decide between:
    this 7 for £420
    7x Solar for £550
    epix for £600

or will there be better deals? not sure on size of 7x and if solar is worth it, or if the screen on the epix is good

Heard this has the old heart rate optical, unless you buy the 7x
