    I was unfortunate enough to have some at the weekend alongside some generic German lager from Asda, the German lager was much more palatable (£3.50 for 4x 500ml cans). Brewed in German under their purity laws (edited)

    You want the 330ml Heineken cans from Tesco that are brewed in the Netherlands rather than the UK. Much more palatable and crisper beer

    Yes we all understand that "brewed in the UK" is not as good as the original, but you're not getting a 15 pack of imported lager for £1 a can, never mind 67p a can. It's cheap 5% lager, that's it.

    It's a good price for liquid volume but that's it.

    Actually the imported Heineken is at 83p a can right now.

    Proper stuff brewed there is totally different.

    Try the 330ml cans for a closer experience to what is on at the tour.

    If it is Netherlands brewed then hot if UK brewed it is Ultra Cold deal - how UK brewers can destroy good continental lagers is beyond me.

    with moretti, they did a taste test between the one made in Italy and the one made in the Uk and no one could tell the difference

    This is the cheapest i have seen these 15 can packs since before the pandemic. They are UK brewed and not particularly nice, but I think at this price it's worth buying some to have in the fridge, to drink once you are already drunk and don't care about the taste so much.
