Branston beans 4 pack £1.99 at Farmfoods seems a much better deal

A - if you like that brand
    B - Kind of similar price, 24 - £11.94 Vs £11.20

Heinz beans are way too watery compared to other brands.

Check the ingredients, it's there in black & white.
Heinz have 51% beans, 34% tomatoes, followed by water
Branston have 51% beans, 38% tomatoes, followed by water

Heinz have less tomatoes and more water!

    Heinz:
Beans (51%), Tomatoes (34%), Water, Sugar, Spirit Vinegar, Modified Cornflour, Salt, Spice Extracts, Herb Extract

    Branston:
Beans (51%), Tomatoes (38%), Water, Sugar, Modified Maize Starch, Reduced Sodium Sea Salt, Spirit Vinegar, Salt, Paprika, White Pepper, Spices, Flavourings

Aren't humans made mostly of water?

£11.20 for 24 tins, still nearly twice the price of the Sainsbury's own beans that I think are great.

Though this is the deal for Heinz - and price comparison should be against Heinz at any other place.
Plenty people like this Beanz and it's a deal for those people.

At checkout it's £14.95 for 4 packs of 6 for me.

    Am I doing something wrong?

For YOU....I prefer the taste of Heinz, but I know that's my taste and not everyone's the same, therefore I would never say Heinz is much better

Straight in the safe with lurpack, Heinz ketchup and the wife diamond rings..

Came here for the “my beans are better than your beans” comments. Didn’t disappoint. Never does.

Ridiculous cost for Heinz in general, would rather get store-name beans, they taste better too
    marskesean's avatar
And you don't have to pour half down the sink. More water than beans in Heinz these days. Typical American company run by accountants.

I do prefer Heinz over other brands, but have been buying Branston due to price. Picked up 2 packs, thanks op

Last ones I ordered the beans didn't look or taste right!
In fact I reckon they were Hasbeans

Although a good deal for Heinz, I went to FarmFoods the other day and got 4 Branston Beans for £2, and they are just as high quality in my opinion. I used to be a Heinz beans addict then changed to Branston as it just tasted nicer.

I think this is account specific. I can’t see 2 for £8 on my account 😔

Need to take a loan out to buy Heinz's watery beans what's it coming too. ASDA's miles better and twenty something pence a tin.

How much would the following packs of 24 tins cost ? (edited)
  24. durhamdurham2017's avatar
Buy own brand in the supermarkets.
    Janine_'s avatar
Most supermarket beans are hard as bullets 🤭
  25. hackboski's avatar
Honking price. Baffled by how Heinz continues to prove their beans at such a price compared to many others when in reality the taste isn’t much different
    Turkishdelight24's avatar
I guess brand snobbery plays a part, and/or more money than sense?

Given it is literally a question of taste, personal taste, and that at between a third, if not a QUARTER of the cost of a tin of Heinz, you have the option of supermarket own brands? if enough people stop paying the silly Heinz (not just beans) prices, they'd soon come down, they'd have to. Heinz don't have the canned goods market cornered.

To vote this as a hot deal, is to as good as give the likes of Heinz the GREEN light. Oh sure, it's a good price as prices currently stand, but it's still a rip-off, IMHO (edited)
