HP DeskJet Plus 4130e All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer & Instant Ink with HP+ with 9 Months instant ink @ Currys. I'd advise getting the warranty, you'll get a new boxed printer with another 9 months instant ink if/when this one dies. You'll get up to 3 years printing for less than £50. Always opt for the TOP tier print package of 700 pages (rolls up to a further 2100).

How do you get the other 24+ months printing for ~£12? I know you can get codes for 2/3 months but after that it's £3 a month minimum.

This is a stretch to say 3 years printing for less than £50 as it requires you to make multiple warranty claims. Reading the terms of the warranty it’s not as you have stated to wide open for currys to tell you to jog on. It’s also more than £50 total and how are you getting 36 months of ink can you share you calculation please? (Is that a new printer exactly every 9 months just as the free ink plan runs out? I mean seriously this got through the moderation

I like my existing HP instant ink printer. Anyone know if you can buy this one just for the free 9 months and use that on an existing account/printer, or would I need to switch to this printer?

You need to switch. I believe you used to be able to do that but HP stopped it

I need a new printer but very wary of HP. Half expect something in the small print about ink switching to £10 per page.

I’ve been on an instant ink plan for maybe 4 years or so now. No significant change in the plan other than I made the mistake of ‘upgrading’ from the free plan that no longer exists. Pretty trouble free printing for me and printers been reliable although I only print occasionally

I bought this and it's absolutely awful ...sometimes prints , sometimes doesn't , tried to print photos and gad to turn the printer off and on several times and managed to print one photo ..I don't know how I'll get any use out of all the ink !!! As it's such a pain to print anything.
