    52511876-hnH11.jpgI have this watch. IMO it's a £20 watch in a £130 case. I'd rather have a more accurate Fitbit charge 6 for £109.
GT3 heart rate is pretty accurate.
    sleep tracking not accurate.
    steps 80% accurate.
GPS is a bit wonky but mostly accurate, if I was a semi pro athlete or runner I'd want something more accurate.
    software is dire.
not many decent watch faces available.
    almost impossible to export data.
    Sunni's avatar
What makes the software dire? Honest question as interested in buying.

I had the original Huawei Watch GT for four years and the case and glass are still as new. Proper solid things these. I was lucky enough to find someone selling the GT3 (none pro) on Facebook marketplace for £65 so snapped it up and it's equally impressive. Fantastic watches 🔥

Can you pay with that watch?
    Dorian_Mangel's avatar
    Nope

    does this have NFC?
    2PeteShakur's avatar
    no it doesnt sadly
  5. PhilK's avatar
They don't apply with wear OS though do they ?
    FireLark's avatar
No, it's why they have battery life that last more than a day - around ~11 days achieveable in real life easily (rated for 14)

Currently rocking a GT2 Pro and like everyone else with a Huawei watch love it, just wished it would sync with Google Maps.
    ThirstyDivorcedDad69's avatar
Recently moved from gt2 pro to Samsung watch 6 classic 47mm.

Doesn't feel like an upgrade. And charging it everyday is much more hassle than I expected.

I had one of these - fantastic price and the battery life is great. Unfortunately the lack of Wear OS soon became annoying in terms in proper integration with my phone so I sold it.
    MrTagoe's avatar
I don't think people really understand that this doesn't run WearOS and, therefore, will not run apps from the Play Store. It's more of a standalone device that will work with its own Android app, but it's not integrated into Android. It's still a very capable smartwatch though
  8. Flora82's avatar
I can't find nfc on the specs on the website, is it correct that this doesn't have it?
    egg1000's avatar
It does have it, but it's pretty useless in UK unless you want to share your bank details with third party developers.
  9. Dragon32's avatar
    Thanks for that.

My GT2 Pro is just over 3 years old now and leather strap getting shabby.

Also will benefit from the new 2 year warranty.

Hopefully will get a few quid for my old watch on Ebay as still have thr box and etc and also have a spare unused rubber strap.

ALSO DON'T FORGET 3% TOPCASHBACK (edited)

cex gave me £38 for a gt2e a moment ago as a voucher which suits me
  10. curriemaster's avatar
I just tried this code with one of the £199 version of the new GT4 watch and it works as well...bringing the GT4 to the same price as the GT3 Pro. Any ideas of how they compare?
    Ouzoherb's avatar
The pro has the titanium and sapphire glass, the 4 has one small improvement which i cant remember maybe on the heart rate sensor but is pretty much the same so the pro is my choice
  11. TheDobbus's avatar
Is this worth the additional £75ish over the GT3 non pro? What's the key difference please?
    chrisdicko22's avatar
I think it's mainly the premium materials, titanium body and sapphire glass. I've got the GT2 pro and it hasn't got a scratch on it so for me it's worth the premium because I've belted it so many times at work and expected the glad to be smashed but there's literally no mark. Prior to that I had the normal GT but the pro was a better watch by far even just to look at
  12. JBAUERBEATSJBOND's avatar
I got the brightness all way up, sleep tracking, health tracking, activeness, skipping, GPS, maps, all notifications to on, use the stopwatch almost every day and get 10 to 12 days easily and it charges in under an hour. I have no anxiety about charging it every day or not using the watch to it's maximum power and potential. (edited)
    JBAUERBEATSJBOND's avatar
Get the strap from Ali express for £9
  13. FMCHAOS's avatar
Have gt2 pro over 3 years. I can't believe how indistructable it is. Not one scratch despite hitting it against all sorts of structures.
  14. Ouzoherb's avatar
Day five and battery life down to 72%. Weep all you apple and samsung customers. Its not perfect but the battery life is a game changer for me.
    Dragon32's avatar
Yes I know what you mean.

I was tempted with the Galaxy 5 Pro watch deal a while ago, but decided to hang onto my GT2 Pro and now the GT3 Pro.

All I really want out of a watch is:

    Good looking/well made.
    Good battery life.
    Check notifications.
Use the torch a lot for nocturnal wees.
    Heart rate
    Find my phone.
    Vibrating alarm clock. (edited)

Love my GT2e watch. Had it a few years and battery life is excellent on it - charging around every 10 days or so and I wear it everyday. It doesnt seem to mark or scratch so I am tempted with an upgrade to this GT3 Pro.
    Deal_searcher's avatar
Agree the gt2e is a cracking watch and no scratches on the screen
  20. goombahxxx's avatar
Have this with the black strap.Fantastic watch. I paid much more than this. Heat.

It's my way or the Huawei bro
This guy on youtube seems to have the best, most exhaustive reviews, comparing the watch in all metrics, and compared to other models on the market to the date it came out.

Not anymore.. The fitbit charge 6 is the best all rounder, especially for the price. The pixel watch 2 is the best android, the apple watch reigns supreme
  24. Skymonkey's avatar
Great watch. Battery life is stellar... 🔥🔥🔥

Yeh can set pre made ones. So when a message pops up you can choose default replies or create your own to add to the list to choose from.

What's the newest model please ? I have the GT 2 Pro is the latest upgrade ?
    tinfoilhat's avatar
GT4 pro is the latest model but it's not titanium.

Have one, it's great. Shame cant pay using it.
    Ouzoherb's avatar
Once you start paying then its a whole new ball game of security that needs applying tbh im happy with a card.

#is there anyway to get #nfc working on these at all since google pay samsung pay apple pay etc are all blocked due to the sanctions; honestly this is the only thing stopping me atm.
    Paperinik's avatar
I don't think so, somewhere I read somebody used curve but I don't think it's confirmed. Personally I don't think that's the feature that should affect the choice of a smartwatch, it's marginally useful but not key. Look , tracking and battery life are way more important and this one is great (edited)

    Tempted but already have GT3
  31. Phade's avatar
Can you turn off Bluetooth on this device?
  32. niravp88's avatar
    I have the GT2.

Battery life started out at 12 days, was soon down to 10 days, kept decreasing, and has settled at around 3 days - this was after just over a year of usage. Apart from that it's a really good watch - so mind the battery drain on this brand's watches - a quick Google and I am not alone in this. (edited)
    Paperinik's avatar
I have had the gt2pro for 3 years now and the battery still works as new easily 2 weeks with display off and 7 days with display always on
  33. agatekkkkt's avatar
I have owned GT2 Pro for over 2 years. I am generally happy with the product however using it for running has been a real nightmare for me. I ended up running with the watch and my iphone on my armband for better gps accuracy but it is still playing up. It could be that the watch has a defect and others are okay.

Tempted to get GT3 Pro only if Huawei improved the gps tracking. Any suggestions?
  34. djxflow's avatar
I have the GT 2, great watch, great GPS, great HR monitoring, only neg not being able to pay with it. Battery life is unreal! Just purchased the GT 3 pro and cannot wait for it to turn up and compare it with the GT 2! If you're sat on the fence, just buy it! Especially at this price!!!!
    Paperinik's avatar
Let us know how it goes, I have a gt2pro and still very happy with it, don't see enough difference to justify an upgrade
  35. K5conalpina's avatar
Just brought the Samsung galaxy watch 6, i would have snapped this up otherwise
    djxflow's avatar
    Return it
  36. Dragon32's avatar
I got the watch today and like it although cannot seem to find the DND mode between certain times like I did on my GT2 Pro? I just hate the screen coming on when I am trying to sleep when I move my arm.

    Am I missing something?
    Dragon32's avatar
Have now found it (just pull down from the top and it's called sleep mode).
  37. Davegnfnrs's avatar
I've had this watch for a while now, it's ace and that is a fantastic price!
  38. Prepper_is_Prepped's avatar
Minor things that i have found...

GT3 Pro display doesn't tell you how much onboard Ram you have used, or how much is still free for use. The android app doesn't display this info either when connected via BT to watch.

Mp3 playback doesn't allow fast forward or rewind of playing music track. Skip to next is available. BT upload to watch can be 3-4min for a mp3 file (at 128mbps) that has a length of 30 min playtime.

Within GT3 Pro you can set up playlists, then add tracks to it etc.... but you are limited to a maximum of ten playlists.

Has anybody got Harmony OS 4 running on a GT3 Pro ??? (edited)
    Tomb's avatar
Harmony OS 4 updated automatically after half a day of my watch “going live” yesterday. (edited)

I received mine today & looking good so far.

I’m thinking of getting a couple of rubber straps for when I’m exercising.

Any recommendations about which ones out of the loads on Amazon to go for?
