For info the free air delivery of this is 5.28CFM, the 11CFM reference is the air displacement. Be aware when sizing for air tools, etc.

Was looking at their 24L until their offer expired on Monday. Looked around surely this stood out in value, without having to get the 100L version.

Ordered this 50L version on Monday with the 10% off B&Q + the £5 first order discount (cheapest elsewhere was £300 with £60 off on eBay). Just set it up. Super quiet vs the old 24L Stanley one I've got (the main reason for upgrading). The secondary outlet pressure control is likely going to be very useful for me.

The paper manual was not great. Found their 24L products' set-up video to be significantly better, it's the 2nd in the gallery.

If you're thinking of chopping up the box, it might be useful to keep because it's sturdy, in case you need to use the 2Y warranty.

Looked up with flir (screenshot below), only the top of the compressors seem to heat up. After filling to full, it was about 39 degrees c. Cools down fast though. If you're tempted to put it into a cupboard and want to foam the top for additional noise reduction, maybe worth a rethink (as the top does heat up).

Bought a few weeks ago at full price. Oh well. Great compressor. Not quite the same flow and compression rate as the big noisybois but you can have a conversation while it's running.

Can you spray and sand blast with this?

Of course. Well maybe for ~60 secs. Don't know about sanding though.
But maybe you would be OK to spray with hvlp or lvlp gun- not an older spray gun
It's a B&Q item , not pro trade and it won't make you deaf !

Having owned one of these I would highly advise against it and buy the SIP instead, I paid £240 for it. Only a single motor but it's more powerful. I use to provide air for my cutting machines and the hyundai was constantly kicking in and went in for warranty 3 times in a year. The SIP however is now almost a year old and is a beast, no issue at all with it.

They do a 100L twin motor version too which I'm going to upgrade too soon.
