About this deal

Played with 106 tiles (numbered 1 to 13 in 4 different colours), the object of the game is to be the first player to clear your rack of all tiles and shout "Rummikub".

Lay down sets of "groups" (three or four tiles of the same number but different colour) or "runs" (three or more consecutive numbers of the same colour).

Manipulate tiles already on the table to your advantage! Rearrange or add to existing sets, to use your tiles.

Number Runs

In Rummikub you lay down number ‘runs’ from your rack or add to existing sets of numbers on the table. Number ‘runs’ are sets of at least three numbers, of the same colour, that follow each consecutively – for example 1,2,3,4 in red.

Number Groups

Number ‘groups’ are tiles of the same number but in different colours. You have to have a minimum of three tiles of the same number but different colour to make a ‘group’. For example, you could add a yellow 5, a red 5 and a blue 5 to make a set.

The Joker

The Joker can represent any number or colour tile, but watch out… if the Joker is still smiling on your rack at the end of the game he’ll cost you 30 points! The joker here represents a black 7, meaning you have a full group of 7s.

  • Be the first player to clear your rack and shout ‘Rummikub’ to win!
  • The numbers strategy game that’s never the same!
  • Lay down number ‘groups’ and ‘runs’
  • Use the Joker to represent any number or colour
  • 2-4 players
  • For ages 7+

'Brings people together'. Does the opposite in my house, especially if someone messes up a big move!

Got the Novo version from Amazon a couple of years ago for £8.99 I think, it is a decent game but prefer rummy played with cards.

Great game, we have it in this format, but to save money and storage you can just use two decks of cards
