Didn't know people went to Ikea expecting longevity.

Be sure to take your cloves off before using.

Why do I have to be naked to use this

I bought one years ago. The handles came off straight away but because they are just glued, I re-glued them properly and from then on OK. Still using it now.

Bought two about 8 years ago. Eventually gifted the 2nd one (still in original packaging) last year to someone previously unaware how much it can improve the quality of life. Best garlic press I have ever used (I didn't try the really expensive ones). Go, buy it.

Find these a little small for a typical size of garlic clove

Been using for 5 years, most solid press I've used. I only hand wash it.

Check the re-shop and re-use area at your local Ikea. Thru may have these that were destined for the Russian market for £1.

Just broken ours, have had it for around 15 years though - great garlic press so bought a replacement (though delivery not until 27th April now)
