Genuine question, only had a 4g phone before and I don't see the point in the internet being any quicker, but is 5g worth it? I just want a reliable 4g connection, that's all and sometimes that's hard to come by.

5G is not worth it. It kills battery for no real world benefit for 99% of users.

    I have this and it’s only 4g

Thanks Didn’t think they were, title needs changing. I wouldn’t personally buy a non 5g phone any more.

    Are these 5g?

    6g

I have a 5g phone and use only 4g saves me battery and 5g is rubbish on 02

I agree. I'm the same, on O2 and 5G is rubbish. Better speeds on 4G, the irony

4G only, you'll need the iPhone 12 series at least to get 5G.

    Are these unlocked? Thanks

    All phones are unlocked

Yeah it's not the lack of 5g putting me off, it's the onboard storage which isn't enough these days unless you have a cloud plan to back up photos and emails.

At least with the later versions the minimum is 128gb.

Are these iPhone 11 Pros still fast to use in 2024?

I would imagine they updated already to latest IOS which guarantees slow downs and lags and very bad battery life.

They are usable and fine but it does seem like the 12 is better value even if slightly more money (though can be found around this price too).

in case anyone wasn't aware on how old this phone is, here's some perspective.

iPhone 11/Pro/Max came out pre-COVID. Yes. 2019. This phone is 5 years old and is priced insanely

I got one a few years ago used, may have been released 4yrs and 6 months ago (not 5 years), but could get a newer one. Mine is 3yrs and 9 months old now. Battery is on 76%, but still works fine.

Won't apple stop supporting this soon with updates?
    MLAM's avatar
It should get iOS 18 but anything beyond that isn't expected.

The iPhone XS (One released before the 11 got iOS 17 last year)

Cheapest electrical ebay was selling £155 very good condition with 12 months warranty but it’s gone now. The only downside is iOS update will probably cease next year.

256gb is now priced the same as 64gb.
