Before buying this check out the john pye moore large auctions for forme kids bikes you could get a lightweight forme that's as good as this for in some cases £100 to £150 (edited)

There are some bargains on there for sure, but be careful to factor in auction taxes and delivery in the final price, can be a bit of a sting!

As everyone is saying islabikes are great, my son has one, but also plenty of them available used (26's maybe not as much) but also you have the option of Frog too which are about the same quality.

They are very simple bikes, just very well made, so not a lot to go wrong. I wouldn't worry too much about buying used. It's jus the hassle of the search.

They may seem expensive but my experience of Isla bikes is that they are very well thought out and designed. Much better riding experience for kids due to the weight, components and narrower q factor. Also easier to work on and set up properly than something like a disposable Halfords Apollo.

Certainly worth it if you have a few kids this could be passed down to as they grow, or as said also have better resell value than cheapo bikes.

    Nice!

Expensive bikes, but the low weight is great for kids. Good used resale value too and demand for them used, so this can work out not too expensive in the long run.
