So these NVMe ssds, are they always better than a sata connected one?

Yes they are min. x3 times faster

Spotted a video on this that's from about 3 days ago - just a review of the drive overall. The performance seems closer to higher end Gen-3 products but given the price it still seems viable; my Neolithic potato would require a PCI card which may not be bootable so it's questionable for me personally.

Technically speaking these are £43.99 plus either £4.98 or £7.98 for postage so not free delivery as you'd need to have an order £100 plus to get free delivery.
This might seem pedantic but some people hate paying postage.

Get the Kioxia for less money, superior drive (TLC, the KV2 is QLC), and has DRAM cache while this is DRAM-less.
Unless you need Gen4 for a PS5 of course.

The KV2 was TLC when released, but Kingston switched to QLC to make more profit at the expense of drive endurance.
They didn't even change the product code/model name so nobody knew at the time...out of order pulling crap like that (much like WD did with the SN550). (edited)
