I got one of these last time they were available. The flow is significantly reduced from my previous tap. This is due to the inlet hoses being of a much smaller diameter.

If this one contains the same fault and you want a high flow rate (don't want to wait around for it to fill the bowl, watering can) then I'd avoid.
The only way we'll know is to open the box in store. I might be able to tell from a photo if someone snaps one

Edit: I think I wasn't particularly fair so see this:
It's a very well made tap for the price. It's normally a false economy to spend little on taps as they go wrong quickly but as this has the 3y warranty it was worth the risk for me.

It operates well (swivels smoothly) and is otherwise perfect than the flow rate.
I reckon some people would pay £100+ for something similar and be happy with it.
Ymmv on the flow rate ofc (edited)

I have the one with the small pipes but don't have any issues??

Maybe you have low water pressure?

Has anyone got the measurements of the tap size as I'm after a family big one and they do come in small sizes as well.

It's a large tap. The previous one was small, see these for reference:

Sitting down atm but will get measurements soon (edited)

So is it luck of the draw if you get one with a small bore or are they all the same ?
    BraddersJ's avatar
They'll all be the same. We just don't know if the one available on the 10th is a revised version or similar to the one that I bought with smaller bore pipes

last time this offer was available I bought it and got it installed. first, it's heavy, so I had to change the sink to something that could hold its weight. second, the thing doesn't deal well with hard water, the build-up is so intense inside of it that mine stopped working and took a long time to find where that was blocking the tap. I contacted their customer service three times, and I had no luck getting a replacement (still under warranty) but I gave up as I managed to fix it myself. I wouldn't recommend it.

I bought this last time it was available to replace an old mixer and it's been great, no issues with flow or hard water blocking even though I'm in an area with very hard water. I reckon you'd have to pay double this to get something similar in quality elsewhere.

You could replace the narrow bore pipes to larger bores if you wanted to, and assuming it’s enough of a bargain. I Bought better cheaper from Amazon just 2 weeks ago as it goes
    BraddersJ's avatar
That was my question on an older thread, but someone insisted that the internal pipe in the tap itself would still limit flow

We changed ours a year ago,,, very happy with it as reasonable quality and performance

I have one of these fitted last year and I have had no issues. We’ll worth the money in my opinion.
No idea what the ID of the inlet hoses are but they did look a little small from memory.
Personally when I fill my kettle for the odd cup of tea or the water filter jug on the single flow I have no issues with the speed - although I wouldn’t say it’s fast. For all washing uses I always use the shower function but actually have it turned right down as that is more than enough flow.
For buckets and larger (cold) water uses I use the outside tap.

I bought this last summer and fitted it with zero plumbing experience. Has served me very well for the year, would absolutely recommend

I bought this tap last year despite reviews saying it breaks easily. Been no problem for me

Bought this two years ago. Had no problems at all. Works perfectly

Excellent I’ve had two going for the year no issues

Had this for 6 months, and over the last two, we’ve noticed the flow slow down drastically, to the point where it no longer aerates. Not sure why - I cleaned the spray head, removed the cartridge and couldn’t see any issues.. and the plumbing is fine.
Have had to buy a different one.
Maybe it’s only due to our extremely hard water here

Take the nozzle off and squirt some limescale remover in there

    Ours lasted about 3 months.
