I went in late July for my daughter's birthday. If you are sensible with the first few rides you go on you can get 3 premium rides done quite quickly. We got on the larger dragon ride 3 times in 20 mins. We stayed in a hotel on this deal one night.

nervous_pilchard

We just came back from a one night 2 day stay and it was not worth it. I purchased Qbots for the 1st day and was not worth the money. The rides are under whelming, the food is substandard, the queues are horrific and the shops are ridiculously expensive. But do you know what. The kids LOVED IT. and it's all about them I guess. I would say never go in holidays, buy cheapest tickets you can and don't dine at the buffet. That would make everyone happy.

jayonline85

Half term at end of October costs more than we paid in the summer holidays. Maybe because of it being around Halloween.

mane1034

really bad experience - may be due to peak season. ..... they sell too many tickets... wasted £250 .... kids were disappointed and wait was average an hour... will not go there. sorry

waynebeetison

As others have said, run to the back of the park, we always manage to get on about 5/6 rides in the first hour.

I also can’t find anything for 2 adults and 3 kids

I been there last saturday too crowded. The worst place I ever been. Each ride is about 5 mins for that you have to wait for an hour and half. Parking tickets to park the cars in the fields. The worst ever

Thanks, booked to take my 3 boys whilst the Mr is away. Cheaper to to 2 adults & 2 kids than 1 adult 3 kids... adult age is 16. My 12 year old will just have to be a very young looking 16 year old. £163 for bank holiday Sunday in half term. Bargain.

sammynooney

I know shocking we are a family of 7 can’t imagine the price butlins hotel Bognor week 2 grand lol

JayDubya

As I said, out of regular school holidays, the most we waited was 20 minutes and that was for the brand new Ninjago VR ride. Many rides we just got straight back on. It is certainly a resort that involves walking though, but that cannot be avoided at most places.

mydealsonly

Booked, thank you so much for sharing :)

ivotedyes

I live in East Riding of Yorkshire and usually we are out of sync with other school half term dates too. I personally love LEGO as does my daughter now 12 but every year I read what everyone says on here and can fully imagine that it would be a nightmare so we never go, plus the fact that I'm disabled and can't stand for long without Keeling over.

Went to Legoland yesterday. 2hr queue for (crap) Ninjago ride. Shocking.

bsmaff

If they expect the tickets to sell fast, it will be extremely busy. Don't forget the extra £6 for parking and then being busy the extra money for a Q-Bot.

Dyslexic_Dog

So it's £20 for all of the tickets? Great I'll have my own exclusive use of the facilities!!! :D

We were at Legoland on Saturday and it was heaving!! Good deal though- heat added. 🔥

Biggunspaul

If it's anything like the rest of the Merlin theme parks the last few days then it will be rammed. Some have been so busy that people have been turned away at the gates as the parks were full to capacity ! And the people who did manage to get inside the parks and payed for FAST TRACK still had to wait up to an hour ! We went to Alton towers screfest last Monday and tuesand it was the busiest that I've personally seen in years, and we go most years in August when it should be at its peak.

Other than the Duplo gift bag & pop-badge, is there anything else extra in the Duplo Stay, that you don't get in the 'Splash & Stay'?

saz182

We have been a few times now, stayed twice in the legoland hotel- once on the pirate themed floor and once on the adventurers themed floor. We didn't use the hotel pool as it was fully booked (we didn't know you needed to book) and there wasn't any room to sit for the entertainment (part was closed off for refurb which we weren't aware of when we booked). I wasn't aware that they still opened the hotel when the park is closed, it wouldn't be worth the drive for us but I guess its good for those who live nearby who have had their fill of the park but would like to experience the themed hotel or have other things of interest to do locally..

TheBolt

Went a couple of years ago as a birthday treat. Bricks restaurant is an all you can eat buffet well suited to youngsters, large outdoor playground, indoor fort playground by the bar area which has entertainment, large lego play pits by reception, small shop and a well themed (but very busy) splash pool. The bedrooms are well themed, and the kids beds are seperated from the adultsby the bathroom, which works really well. Going when the park is open is very expensive, and you wouldn't have time to use the hotel features to their fullest.

jacobforsyth

Yeah it's closed then x

Fab deal, we had an awesome time last time we went, but didn't get chance to stay in hotel. Sounds great

Broxy

One of them is in the same county :D

Mentos

To be honest i'd consider just staying at the hotels and forgetting the park. We don't live far (few miles) and despite having a 2 year old and Merlin passes for us and the Grandparents, we've only bothered taking her 4 times between us. Three of the four times the queues were ridiculous, we are talking about an hour to get some food, let alone get on a ride. The one time it was relatively less busy (but still busy) they didn't bother opening half the rides. On a general note, we've been really disappointed with the passes. We've had them in the past, when family visited they worked out reasonable value for sight seeing. Eventually we stopped getting them as everyone had seen the sites they cover enough times, but this year we got them as the little one was coming to the age where she'd start enjoying the parks/london eye/etc. Have to say, comparing to the past, prices have gone up significantly but what you get in return has deteriorated. You need premium for Fast Track, Special days, Summer hols in London, parking ,etc. The parks don't look like they've had a make over in years. And one of the advantages (as we live close to the parks) was you could pop in off peak on a whim to avoid the queues. But recent experience (including the other parks) has been they only operate "properly" when its wall to wall busy :( Don't think we'll be getting the passes again. The parks are closed half the year to begin with, if they are effectively going to run them half closed for much of the rest of the time (other then the odd weekend or school hols) whats the point in an annual pass!

arcangel111

yes.. we've always done the package deal staying in hotels around 10-20 miles away :) last year we went into London for a couple of nights after LL :)

jamesal

You have to buy the Legoland tickets as a package with a hotel stay to have the free kids ticket offer. Went 2 years ago when it was the Star Wars days. 6 year old soon loved it. I'd go again at this time of year. Not too busy.

kev1986

It's worth paying £10 extra to express park at Towers, you are in your car within 2 minutes of leaving the gate.

arcangel111

when we've been we have also left right at closing time ... wastes an hour of ride time - we also try and get on the rapids as we walk back towards the entrance gates :) never really much of a queue getting out.. not as bad as Alton Towers!!

Thanks for the heads up op Was going to do this last time they had the offer. I chose the Maidenhead Holiday Inn. For 2 days park and the hotel I think it is a very good deal, even if you did the 1 adult child free offers you'd be looking at £90 for first day and £90 for a second which is already more than a lot of the offerings here.

Good price but what's with the pricing per person? You mean it's from £122. Or can I book it for 2 people from £61? I went on a similar package last year. It was super busy. I hated the whole idea of the queue bot queue jumping tickets available for a considerable extra cost. Basically if you pay up you can pretty much avoid all queues while the poor look on. Out of all the theme parks I've taken my kids to this is my least favourite.

germainsophie

You might have to ring them up - when we booked last year the same happened to us. They had a record of the booking on their end but the payment hadn't gone through, so I just did it over the phone. (One booking went through fine on the website though...!)

germainsophie

You're welcome. :) I'm in two minds about booking again this year, as the only time I can generally go is during school holidays (Easter?) and it's stupidly busy at them times. :(

jessie_katie21

Like anywhere there are rougher areas than others but never had any problems in the locations of the hotels. The T5 one is in Colnbrook just off the motorway.Grew up in Slough and its gone downhill over the years but like any tourist its not like you're going there for the town only somewhere to rest your head at night .Can think of worse places.

I'm looking to go to legoland this Saturday 7th May and considering staying overnight, it's for a family of 5 with 3 adults and 2 children, what can I do to get myself a cheapest deal ? Thanks

sossige

The website appears to have changed over the last few days, now I can't seem to be able to book these offers..

Splemoni

I was looking at this before I booked as I have 3 kids with 1 under the age of 2, and I could not find any info on this (maybe I didn't look hard enough). Anyway, I booked the tickets and just thought if I have to pay anything I'll just pay. FYI I booked to stay at the Hilton in Basingstoke. I did not have to pay anything extra through out my day as under 2s go free in Legoland and the Hilton was happy I came with my own travel cot ;) I Hope this helps.

Splemoni

Sorry, the above post was my response to you.

Splemoni

I went to Legoland Sunday and yesterday courtesy of this deal. Thanks OP. I have 3 kids with the middle one just under 1.0m and we are talking by 5mm!! Anyway some rides require the child to be 0.9m+, but majority of the rides require 1.0m+. She was really disappointed that she couldn't go on any of the water rides. Other than that they really enjoyed it. I hope that helps

any deals for legoland resort hotel?

Grahamdue

When Legoland started charging for parking, they initially made it pay on entry. The queues on the surrouding roads were horrendous and the Council told them they had to come up with an alternative that meant any queues were within their property - hence the 'pay on exit'.

Gouyave_man

Or why not have FREE parking........:{

jch6241

Exit tickets can be bought at any point during the day - also, there are plenty of staff around with the ticket ready to take your money and let you exit. We have been approx. 10-12 times and never had any problem with either parking or leaving ! We generally do all the rides etc during he day then relax and don't race off at closing time - we have in the past spent an hour walking round the model village etc before exiting - and straight out no bother !
