Keep your videos clear, your eyes safeA welcome upgrade to the IR camera delivers high-quality and high-clarity video for video calls and conferencing, while Smart Noise cancellation technology tailors your voice and audio to get a more natural sound with less ambiance. Remove echoes from the loudspeaker and typing with AI-enabled technology. And with TÜV Eyesafe certification for blue light, you can keep your eyes safe on long days of productivity.

A display to turn pro toTake your craft to a professional level with this pro-creator and gamer-class 16 inch display, featuring a cinematic 2.5K resolution, higher-vertical 16:10 aspect ratio and 90% AAR for a more expansive screen. I'm upset at a spiritual level that I missed this deal 😞

Me too, although looking at Camel Camel Camel it seems to have bounced around between £1100 and around £700 for months now, up and down every couple of weeks, so there is hope yet that it will bounce back down if they find more stock.

got mine today : first impressions are big and solid, not too heavy, keyboard better than expected. Annoyingly the power supply is. abrick with a square connector, not usb c as my last 3-4 lenovo laptops have been so that makes power supply sharing not an option. Pretty responsive, just clearing off some of the crud (mcafee etc.) to see how it is when clean.

Yep slightly annoying that it doesn't come with a USB-C charging cord, but it definitely does charge if you plug in a lead with decent wattage.

Great price for what it is. Had the 3050 unit myself, but just couldn't bring myself to keep it because of the keyboard which I simply didn't like, compared to my ideapad gaming 3. Much lighter mind you, and with a sharper display. It supports type c charging of up to 100W, so my Anker 737 has no trouble topping the laptop up. Other features, such as the speakers and trackpad are more in line with the ideapad branding. If you're fine with the keyboard, then it's a no brainer honestly at this price.

How were the speakers and track pad and generally what was the issue with keyboard

Thats ticking a lot of boxes for the price! The Ryzen 5 version with the lesser GPU is more expensive!

looking to get something to hook up to a monitor, keyboard, mouse for autocad. Between this (battery life + portability a plus) or a lenovo m70 desktop with a 13400 or 13600 + 32gb RAM (but initially no GPU. Anyone got any thoughts whether this should cover non 3d autocad work ?
