Too clunky compared to Steam Deck

This should be 1000 heat, but same as ROG Ally deals, the voting is completely skewed by the bitter hardcore Steam Deck brigade that jumped in early as early adopters cold voting on the serious stuff.

Speaking as someone who owns both: I think you need to accept that the Steam Deck is simply a wildly more popular device. For example the steamdeck subreddit has more than 10x the members of the rogally subreddit, and 20x the daily users.

Fantastic price although I don't feel too bad about buying mine full price as I've had a lot of use out of it.

Windows did initially feel like too much hassle when setting the device up compared to the Steamdeck but once it's up and running I don't find it an issue with the benefit of being able to easily play games on any platform and install/modify whatever I want.

For anyone curious I picked one up from techsave about a month ago for £470. Arrived in perfect condition on next day delivery. If you told me it was brand new I would have believed you. Insane deal at £475.

How have you found the device ?

Love my rog ally, but since picking to Go a few days ago, im considering selling the ally. The big screen is much more pleasant to play games on and the lack of VRR isn't an issue at all.

Whats the build quality and comfort like coming from a Rog Ally? I recently got a Rog Ally, build quality is great but it gets uncomfortable quickly (without a grip case) and the button placement and loose joysticks aren't as good as the firmer steam deck ones. I was hoping the Go would be an improvement. (edited)

Mine arrived today in excellent condition, shows signs of very light use but no scratches or marks at all. Did anyone else receive theirs with a glass screen protector applied as mine deffo has one!

From Very UK I bought the Legion Go brand new for £584 so definitely this is not a deal…
