Just ordered one of these and then received an email saying that my order is on hold and a new delivery date is pending - stock issues?
    Amelia_Stephens's avatar
That happened to me it still turned up

Can anyone give me an idiots guide on how to apply all the discount codes and where you get them from, (the referral code only appears to be valid once you refer a friend and they make a purchase, or am I reading it wrong) . Been looking for a good priced Oled TV to replace my Plasma TV however being a pensioner I'm not the sharpest to figure out how to find the codes to complete my order at price quoted. Any help would be much appreciated.
    toythatkills's avatar
One code is automatically applied, you don't have to do anything.

If you enter your email and another email using the referral link above, it'll give you another code (it will show on screen, and will send it to the second email address you use if you miss it.)

At the top of the LG website is a black bar that says something like "save on your first order," click that to sign up and when you're signed up and logged in, you can check the "vouchers" section on your account and there will be a code there for your first order.

At checkout, you can enter the codes in the box to have them accepted, and then you can select which ones to apply to the order (all of them!) It should be pretty clear which ones are applied because you'll see them all affect the price on the right.

Just got my C3 today. Do I need to do anything to get confirmation of the 5 year warranty? It says on the T&Cs page:

"How to receive 4-year extended warranty:
    a. After purchasing a participating product,
    b. The 4-year extended warranty certificate will be sent to you via our 3rd party, Domestic and General."

Do I just sit tight and wait for D&G to send me confirmation via my registered email or snail-mail home address or do I need to do something to ensure the 5 year warranty is applied?
Other than the blurb on the offer webpage I have no confirmation to prove 5 year warranty as yet. I'd hate to miss out on it.
    Many thanks folks.
    porkchopkid's avatar
I would sit tight as it says that they will send you it. Keep hold of your receipt though incase any probs (I normally take to photograph of it so you've got easy access on your phone)

    Would this be a big improvement compared to old Panasonic ( 2019 ) 40" Ultra HD 4K LED Television - TX-40GX820B ....??
    GodVilla's avatar
    Massive improvement

Hmm - price seems to have gone up a bit 52824711-48Sf5.jpg
Still a good deal though. I will have to think about it.

Bought it using Topcashback. (Already confirmed in my Topcashback account) Got yet another £22 knocked of the total. Bringing the 48 inch down to a net total of £638.
    samArsenal's avatar
Online Purchase with a voucher code rate is 0.85%. The £22 will be adjusted to the correct amount before they payout!

tempted with the 42" to use as a monitor
    simon_white2000's avatar
Do it. I'm using a 42 C2 for a monitor and it's brilliant couple of precautions to take but none an inconvenience. Got the 48 C3 in the bedroom.

Paid more than this for the C2 last year. Great TVs.
    PC59's avatar
Was thinking the same, 850 and I thought that was a good price
  12. danflorin3's avatar
I have 3m ( 120" ) distance from the back of the sofa to where the TV will be. Should I go for 48" or 43" size? I have 2 kids 3 and 6 years old. Which one would be better for them. In general they don't watch TV that much, some cartoons now and then on Netflix, but sometimes I watch football with my 6y son and the tv channel is not even HD...
    simon_white2000's avatar
    48 I would go for I use a 42 as a monitor from 1m away

Great deal, got it earlier in year for £830 with free soundbar and then another £50 off due to another price drop at Costco, this smashes that by over £100!

Thanks so much. Just purchased after missing this same price last week. I was too late and they increased the price once I got to check out. Not this time though!

Checkout was a mess, glitches all over, but managed to get an order through in the end. Thank you! Been after this specific model for about a year now but the price wasn't right until now.
  21. pipboy142's avatar
Anyone tried if Richer Sound will match?
    GOODSTUFF's avatar
    no
  22. Ollie222's avatar
Can someone confirm on the C£ whether it is possible to have both the speakers or soundbar and a set of bluetooth headphones connected at the same time with independent volume control?

I'm just trying to sort something for my folks and my Dad needs the volume much louder than my Mum.

Also any recommendations for an LG soundbar to go with the TV?
  23. Nick_Clark2's avatar
    Nailed it.

where can i purchase insurance for this tv
    porkchopkid's avatar
To be honest probably not worth the premium..but ask your current home insurance provider and they should be able to add accidental damage to the policy
  25. SUREBET's avatar
After navigating through the order process, did not find it easy, credit card details in, when I realised no mention of 5 year warranty. Checked small print only to discover this model and all C oled models are not included in 5 year warranty ( which on reading appears to be a bit of a con even on the TV's covered).
Did not continue with order however still think it's a good TV, may go to John lewis. Anyone have any thoughts, is the John Lewis warranty worth the extra premium?
    stu.rod's avatar
On the landing page it states "Free delivery and 5-year extended warranty T&Cs apply.". I also had a look at the T&Cs. Expected it to say the 5 year warranty was on the panel only. But was pleasantly surprised to find it implied all parts and labour. It didn't say "panel only". Additional 4 year warranty will be issued by Domestic and General. Have I overlooked or misinterpreted something? (edited)

Gave up trying these codes, neither refer or BLC work
    samArsenal's avatar
BLC codes can't be stacked unlike the others.
