I've been using it as my daily driver for a few months now - and this is my opinion on the Logi M240.
Essentially the M240 is a Bluetooth LE/Logi Bolt version of the M235.
The buttons are definitely quieter - but not 'silent' as I can still hear them. It takes a bit of time to adjust to the tactile feedback rather than the sound, espeically when using the virtually silent scroll wheel.
Size/weight:
The M240 is small and (really) lightweight - for good portability (much lighter than the M235)
Connectivity:
Bluetooth LE - works really well, with only minimal 'wake up' lag (all BT mice will have this - tbh it's only noticeable on the M240 when the computer is waking up from sleep). Using BT means I can ditch the (sticking out) dongle on my laptop, with no appreciable interference with other devices (BT headphones).
The M240 also supports Logi Bolt (dongle as extra purchase - unless you buy the 'for business' model) - this is supposedly more 'secure' than standard BT, but I don't see this as a benefit (unless you work for GCHQ...)
Unfortunately the M240 is single device pairing only - unlike Logi's other models
Battery life:
Lasts long enough with a single AA battery - I've not fully tested the battery life yet, but the M240 hasn't complained of battery low yet (and its been a few months).
My only minor gripe with the battery is the indicator % (that gets reported on windows) is inaccurate when using rechargeable NiMH batteries - tbh all devices that expect disposable alkaline batteries suffer from the same problem (but we no longer live in the 80s anymore...)
Other things:
1. The hard plastic grip (not rubberised like the M235) - Logitech cutting costs
2. Logi Option software - slow and buggy, but needed if you want to adjust the DPI etc.
That's about it really.
