    In general what are these charger like compared to like using a USB C charging cable, do they produce excess heat that damages the battery/ Id like to not wear out my USB C input jack but dont wanna destry my phone battery..

    Would there be much difference between this and a Apple original version?

    Yes the Apple version will charge at 15w using Magsafe
    This will be 5 to 7.5 watts and thus extremely slow.

    Wait till you see a deal on a Belkin 15w MagSafe charger like we've had on here in the past and skip this one.
