The motorola edge 40 neo is designed to last and love with water, splash, and dust resistance, and elegant design. Ultra-thin and beautifully wrapped in vegan leather, IP68-rated underwater protection* ensures you can explore the world free from worry. Enjoy an advanced 50 MP Ultra Pixel camera, ultra-fast 68W TurboPower charging and a cinematic 6.55" pOLED display. Live a more colourful life with the motorola edge 40 neo.

Give your photography the edge
Your photos come out clear and bright with an advanced camera system that captures amazing detail, day or night. Its 50MP main camera can capture every fleeting moment, even in low light, thanks to a super-wide f/1.8 aperture. And the 120° ultrawide angle lens fits 4x more into the frame than a standard lens.

A 32MP front-facing camera captures Instagram-ready selfies. Image-enhancing lens adjustments ensure you can always look your best.

Boss performance
Energise your experience with the power of a Mediatek 7030 processor, elevating the mobile experience.

Turbo charge
Recharge super quickly. The Edge 40 Neo supports TurboPower charging at 68W.

Be immersed
Watch shows, films and videos on a borderless 6.5” pOLED display. Gaming, scrolling and switching between apps is super-smooth thanks to a 144Hz refresh rate, while HDR10+ ensures colour and contrast are deeper, brighter, and more realistic.

5G capability
The Edge 40 Neo's future-proofed 5G modem will enable you to still use 4G, however depending on your network provider, you'll experience incredible speeds and better quality streaming video, along with more reliable network connections when you're in crowded places - especially during peak times.

What is RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is different to the permanent storage provided by hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD) or memory cards in your equipment. RAM is used by your device to temporarily store data to carry out everyday operations. The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs.

This device has 12GB of RAM.

Great qualities
Unlocking is easy thanks to the fingerprint scanner - just a touch and away you go, whilst GPS will help guide you to your destinations.

*IP68 withstands immersion in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.

Just got one to replace my s23u as gave that to my son since his was stolen. Don't miss the s23u at all. Not slow at all and a much better weight and size in the hand. Feels more premium than it's cost for sure. (edited)

I have had 6hr 31 minutes of screen on time today and have 30% left so it's not bad. Been off charge since 6.30am.

I've never had a curved screen phone so would be great to get some opinions on what it's been like for those of you with this phone moving from a flat screen?
    Ondrej_Dalik's avatar
I love curves, my first was s9 and since then I always look for curved. But best is to go to shop and grab one and see how it feels. The phone choses it's master. (edited)

Anyone having issues with FB messenger and/or WhatsApp on this phone?

Messages on those apps not being sent - showing a clock icon or only receiving messages when you open the app?

Had the phone since mid December.
Changed all the settings to allow to work in the background, in do not disturb mode, everything...
    Still doesn't send messages properly.

As above sent a message 1pm and at 4pm still not sent.

Started using phone's main messaging "app" instead.
Not sure would buy Motorola again.

No issues with WhatsApp here. Have you made sure it's not a data restriction? The best way to test is if WhatsApp works without any issues when WiFi is connected.

Make sure Background Data is enabled as per screenshot below. Also consider switching the battery settings to Unrestricted.

Also, it could be a network issue. Try switching into 4G only mode and see if it connects.
