If we buy now (late April), I guess we missing the yearly contract price rise for this year? So first increase will be 11/12 months from now?

As long as Three works for you then this is a great bundle with enough data for most people, a decent spec phone and a set of buds ♨️

    From Trusted Reviews...
Easily the biggest difference between the Edge 50 Pro and the Ultra is the camera array. The Edge 50 Pro packs a mere 10MP telephoto and 13MP ultrawide, neither of which really had the detail to make images stand out in my initial testing. It’s a shame when secondary cameras feel like an afterthought, but it is to be expected when mid-range prices have to be hit

Won't touch edge phones after my 30 had screen burn a horrible green blob that appeared and gradually got larger on left side of screen

Hopefully by the time the EU/UK retail price significantly drops they will have sorted out some of the issues with a firmware/software update but that Motorola have a terrible record on updates and the most recent update apparently didn't resolve them (for instance, pretty awful 4K video quality compared to much cheaper phones, juddering/stuttering footage when panning in 4K, exposure problems). Motorola have said they intend to do better on updates but I've heard that one before...

I mention the above because often when a new phone is rushed off the production line, it comes with issues that haven't been ironed out in time, that theoretically some of them should be ironed out in updates.

If you don't want to wait to see if things are improved, if the issues don't bother you - and obviously look at the reviews where the reviewer anonymously paid for their own sample, rather than reviews where Motorola sent out samples for reviewers on the good old unspoken condition of a fairly good review if said reviewers wanted to have a good 'working relationship' with Motorola, etc, as in did they want to continue to get samples sent for review or not - it's easy to find on ebay for sub £400 (global).

Though actually, now I think about it, even Techspurt who was sent one gave it pretty meh review and pointed out (some) of the issues mentioned in the Indian reviews.

It is frustrating that the group test reviews out of India had the Motorola at a different in a price tier compared to over here; over here it's priced as more of an upper midrange phone rather than a midrange-er. Over here it would instead have been reviewed against heavyweights like the Galaxy S23, etc.

I couldn't agree more. Motorola is worst when come to updates. Best hardware though
