Just some points to make (this and the 4060 Ti / 6700 XT are very similar):

    Pros

    - 12GB vRAM
    - £30 less than the 4060 Ti
    - 5-10% better raw performance than the 4060 Ti

    Cons

    - £30 more than the 6700XT and only 5% faster
    - 50% more power draw than a 4060 Ti
    - FSR2.0 not as good
    - RT performance (I don't particularily care for it)

The 6700 XT is holding around £330 because people are buying it now, and the stock is diminishing. I don't see the 6700 XT dropping below £300 at all now.

I'm neither team green/red so just observations on my part

The ASUS duel RX 6700XT was available for a short period for £270 if you used the the two cash back vouchers from ASUS one at £40 and the other at £25.

Out of interest what will AMD be replacing the RX 6700 XT with.

Very good graphics card for the money, much more sensible purchase than garbage like the 4060Ti.

Shame the graphics card market is in such a sorry state that an old generation discounted graphics card is the best deal you can get in the mid-range.

In my opinion there's only three current generation graphics cards worth buying. RTX 4070 if you want something modern & power efficient at an ok price. 7900 XTX if you want top end performance with a high price to match. Then the RTX 4090 if money is no object an you just want the best.

If you buy any current gen AMD CPU or last gen and current gen AMD graphics card you will get Starfield for free.

Is this really worth the ~£30 it costs over a low end 6700 xt model? Not a rhetorical question, looking at online benchmarks it looks like you're getting less than a 5% increase in performance for a 10% price increase but I'm hardly tech savvy I may just wait for a 6700xt to drop below £300

How long will we be waiting for a 6700xt to drop below £300 though

Shame it's only 12gb RAM. Would like a deal on the 6800 XT.

Would you get this or the 6800 XT paired with a Ryzen 5 3600? (edited)

What resolution and games do you play?

According to the announcement, this card qualifies for Starfield PREMIUM, not the Standard version with microtransactions.
