    The thin heat spreader is thin for a reason, it's designed to be left on with a heatsink fitted on top.

    WARNING!!!
    There are a lot of reviews saying they have trouble with this SSD using it on a PS5.

    To make matters worse, it seems the warranty support is by posting the item back to China at buyers expense.

    Given this, I strongly suggest you avoid this drive.

    Yeah, mixed bag of reviews on PS5...I can only comment on my experience which has been fine....had to copy all games from old PS5 nvme to usb hdd, then back onto new 2TB nvme after installation into ps5. Must've been pretty hot after copying 1TB onto it, but was rock solid....your mileage may vary...
