Would I still get volt benefits if I have 2 separate O2 accounts, same name and address but want a separate account for my work phone? (edited)
    alexf's avatar
Yes, you will. Don't forget the loyalty bonus too for having more than one line. Text LOYALTY to 21500 from the number you want to pay 20% less for.

Thanks op, my 5gb tariff had crept up over £7. Really easy to switch to this one via website for a change. Hopefully I won't lose my volt benefits.. (edited)
    nightshot's avatar
You will lose them initially but they get put back on after a few days.
  4. Zerobob's avatar
Half tempted, but I just know O2 will increase the price of this "contract" as soon as I buy it, just like they did with my last 2 contracts.
    Bendown's avatar
How can they do that, the increase is not until April and that should only be around 17%, not sure they can just change prices without reason

Much better than Lyca deal posted. Took this one up and mega quick service and customer service amazingly quick and helpful. Great communication.
    bargainhunter007's avatar
Lyca is not great but for the price, can't complain, paying 1P for 3GB data, unlimited calls and texts
  6. Taksim_Red's avatar
    Same deal.

Quidco showing as £9 for me, not £12!
    tonyawesome69's avatar
Quidco basic account get £9, premium account £12.

I’m already with 02 via the switch from virgin. I’m out of contract. Would I be able to ask them for a puk code (02) purchase this sim, and port my number to them. Not sure how it would work if already on 02
    nightshot's avatar
    Just upgrade.
  9. crazy_b's avatar
This is a copy deal of the one that has been out for days, just through money supermarket instead of uswitch . Hate it when people do this
  10. 999kernow's avatar
    Cannot see a 10gb tarrif
  11. 999's avatar
Thanks! Got the £5 one that went hot recently, and just text LOYALTY as suggested to get this additional one for £4. The text reply says they'll get back to me in a few days time.

These are such a great price. Many thanks for posting
    snapper's avatar
Did you have to have the other one up and running before you could text “loyalty “ for the second one

    Hi,
Where can I find MSM on Quidco? I can see MSM Home, Energy, etc. as options but not MSM Mobile?

    Thanks

Does this come with 3 months Disney sub?
    danceswithhorses's avatar
i was offered the 3 months disney sub.
  14. psel13's avatar
There’s an offer in the O2 app too for same deal, it says to add a line but I’ve done it in the past and got the option to upgrade existing number
  15. ClassOf92's avatar
States I've got to pay the remainder of my contract off to upgrade or wait until my contract expires . Is this correct?
    tonyawesome69's avatar
Check what type of contract you have. Looks like early termination charges are applied

    o2.co.uk/hel…-o2
  16. CosmoK's avatar
Great deal, thanks. Would I still need to resend the LOYALTY text if I've upgraded existing numbers?
    jos1e's avatar
I think so. Last time I swapped from O2 to O2 I had to redo the loyalty thing
  17. Bendown's avatar
How do I go about getting an esim, am waiting for my physical sim to arrive now
    KodaBear's avatar
You’ll have to wait until it arrives and activate that first now. Then request an eSIM. Some can do it within the o2 app. Otherwise you would have to call customer service or ask in store to do a swap.
  18. morgie's avatar
Can anyone confirm how quickly you're likely to receive a new SIM in the post from o2 from the point of ordering online as a new customer? Thanks. (edited)
    dealhunter6k's avatar
I ordered Monday evening, sims just arrived.
  19. dealhunter6k's avatar
Does anyone know how long it takes to switch your number over once you put your new SIM card in? I put the pac code in during the order process so assumed it would be automatic as soon as I put the new SIM in my phone
    Dealss8's avatar
I put the pac code in during the order too but then called them to follow up. They didn’t know that I’d requested a number port, so it’s best to call them
  20. blonk's avatar
Put my sim in today it's quite funny how slow it actually is , here's O2 4g Vs Vodafone 4g+ for me.
Don't get 5g where I am on these two.
Not sure the free roaming is worth having such slow speeds the rest of the time !

Cannot find MSM qudico for some reason
  22. unclecuddles's avatar
Just be aware you will not get free roaming with this tariff, needs to be over 30GB data I think
    blonk's avatar
Not correct, this gives free EU roaming
  23. dealhunter6k's avatar
I could do this but Virgin are in the middle of moving me to o2 and I know it will create a world of hassle with them.

Update, as expected, 4 contracts now all over the place, two new sims coming apparently, 3rd failed credit check (my scores is 1000) and 4th has an o2 number already but nowhere to enter PAC after ordering.

I'm going to bin the lot it's not worth the hassle for the savings. (edited)
  24. tonyawesome69's avatar
Same tariff but different affiliated link i.e. Money supermarket and uswitch
  25. just-harry's avatar
    Heat bro.
    Excellent deal.
  26. danceswithhorses's avatar
Despite having an O2 account, on previous HUKD o2 deals, i was unable to upgrade, as each time i would get a 'a problem has occurred' message.
I hadn't much hope with this deal, but it actually worked.
My 4gb data, unlim. mins & texts @ over £7pm, has now been replaced by 10gb, unlim. mins and texts for £5pm...noice
One thing i'd mention though, is that o2 were threatening to charge me £6.56 termination fee for the remaining month(ish) of my previous contract...i decided i'd have to take the sting, but when i clicked further, it specifically noted that it would reduce it to £0.00...even better news.
Plus...i also went through Quidco, so 'may' get £12 cashback too. (edited)
    crazy_b's avatar
When that happens just do it on a laptop
  27. Gez777's avatar
Cracking deal, Virgin has just moved my phone onto O2 and are giving only 2Gb data for £10 a month.
I'll get it moved over onto this pronto.
  28. chamindassa's avatar
O2 is the worst mobile data network for coverage and speed. Avoid these deals if you can. These are cheap for a reason. I learnt it hard way after I switched over to O2 last week 😔

I think it depends where you are. Three was terrible. O2 so much better including when inside my house. A good idea is to buy payg sim for each network and test them all to see what's best, including when inside. Test all around the house. O2 was the best for my location. Now paying £5 month for 20gb (volt). 3 additional sims for my family are £4 each, all with 20gb. All good

Does anyone please know of a method to get a free working O2 using SIM with a bit of data just to try out, I'm thinking maybe voucher code for 1st month free or something like that Giffgaff maybe.

I know there's the 14 day cooling off but don't really want to go ahead and do that.
    tonyawesome69's avatar
Nothing free, probably a PAYG sim from O2
