is this able to cut steel screw heads?

Yes, not a lot of torque so you need to be gentle, but I've used it to cut slots into decking screw heads with a cutting wheel.

I have this device, paid a lot more than this & it's excellent

That's a reduce sticker, so won't be national

Correct. Shame as I could do with one of these!

I've found that the Aldi and Lidl tools are good but the accessories aren't. The cutting discs break really easily so it would probably cut through a screw but it might take a few discs to do it. The genuine Dremmel discs and accessories are better but quite expensive.

I'll have to have a look at mine today. I've been after a replacement and at £7.50, it's worth a go!

I picked this up for £10 not long ago so this is a good price if it's reduced in your local branch but I think it'll be dependent on what they need to get rid of. Lidls reductions are random, this item will be back in the middle isle in a couple of weeks at full price

I'm having problems sourcing their 12V battery charger, so I would consider that before purchasing .

A battery charger for this? Pics and amazon listing suggest its a USB-C power lead - have you tried using a phone charger?

Sure you'll get faster charges from higher power chargers (there is no charging spec I can see), but any old USB charger should do it.

I've checked in Worthing Lidl and they still only have the corded tools, Not the cordless.

Wish the was a lidl on walking distance from me. I bought one of these (different brand) from homebase and it won't stay on. I take it apart and fix it and it work a few minutes and have to do it all over again.

Would use its accessories with this happily for my little diy.

I'm looking for one of these and live in Rochdale. Out of the country for 10 days, so I'm well gutted. Great find though.
