I just have 2AH battery, cos only use it for domestic purpose. Tried this tool yesterday, does the job well. Also torque is higher than most £80-100 worth bosch/makita etc entry level impact drivers. Very happy so far with this one.

Picked up the impact driver and hoover. Impact driver is lightweight and solid, seems a good purchase.

The hoover seems OK as well, pretty good suction.

I'm still on the fence for the grinder, I don't need it but I know I will at some stage. I might buy it tomorrow, plenty of stock remaining.

BTW this is in the Northern Ireland stores, you lot on the mainland will have to wait a few more days. In saying that the Impact Driver was £24.99 which is a fiver more than you are being charged.

Went in to lidl again this morning after being told they are likely to come in today, they didnt and the manager said they wont get them in now. He said he believes Lancashire and Cheshire were missed out from the deliveries. Be interesting to see if anyone in these areas managed to get one?

Don't think I've ever come across the sander, but the place to look at what is (and more likely isn't!) available is the Lidl.de site where they have an online shop which sells the range the whole year long:

I've got it, it seems pretty good especially for the money it's on par spec sheet wise as makita/Ryobi my next door neighbour is in the construction trade and has the DeWalt and he was impressed when I gave him a shot of this aswell practically no difference, time would tell if this upheld against the DeWalt onsite or such though for DIY yes it's good (edited)

eye watering on ebay, but as mentioned, the stores usually end up with an overstock & often flog em off a tad cheaper every once in a while.

one of the stores near where i work is currently knocking out the 2Ah battery with a 2.4A charger ( normally £19.99 instore ) for the measly price of £5 - bargain, OK they are the older stock from 2019 ( well made in 2019 at least ) but at that price who cares.

There was loads of stock but I'm after a detailing sander or a regular sander (not sure of the name but it uses the rectangular sheets). I was so tempted but I don't need it atm so I put it off. It will come into stock again one day and I'll buy it then.I'm tempted by the angle grinder, have a couple of window sills to clear of paint so I might get it. It might also be a handy tool for other jobs but I'll get the vac (despite the bad reviews) and the Impact Wrench and maybe have a look at the grinder and decide over the weekend. I've one of the bigger stores nearby so there's always plenty of stock.I don't fancy the 12v range but I'll have another look. Generally we (in NI) get the same deals as the mainland either a week early or late.I like the 20v range and my collection is starting to build. I'll get most of the tools eventually.

i thought the 12v range may have been a teeny bit feeble ( some of it is unless you get the 4ah bats mind ) but i bought the little 12v drill/driver to use at work ( occasional hole to drill into wood & plenty of screws to loosen/tighten most days so it was handy as the chuck was removable thus keeping the 7mm drill bit needed in the chuck while using it in screwdriver mode & the screwdriver bit fit under the chuck when fitted ) & it was great so got one for myself too for use as a small screwdriver inplace of this impact driver as i kept missing this when it has previously been on offer - have had to swap over to the 20V drill on a couple of occasions to finish off a screw drive but i knew going in on them that it may be the case but was impressed with how far the little 12v driver got

since then i have not turned away from the 12v tools as much, i have given em a fair try if i have not already got the 20v version or needed something from the 20v range a tad smaller - dont get me wrong, the 12v ones are not a patch on the 20v ones in terms of power but they have there place for a bit of basic DIY and are worth a looksy as they will most likely get the bigger jobs done in a pinch but just not as fast as the 20v version lol

Definitely not. I've got both and they are different.
Bauker are the same as Worx, Ferrex (18v not the 20v/40v range) and the older JCB range.

The grinder is a good bit of kit for any of you on the fence, had one for about 2yrs now and used it for all sorts, the adjustable wheel on the side is handy - spin it up for heavy stuff like cutting then spin it down if you are doing stuff like using a wire cup brush

You need a couple of batterys tho if you are doing anything serious, I had to chop some 5mm steel plate and ran through 2 of the big batteries in minutes, then finished it with a smaller battery I've got - it did the cut fine

I've got the impact driver and impact wrench too, use both on the car, get yourself an adapter and the impact driver can drive 3/8 and 1/2 inch - the wrench is meaty, took off some seriously rusted bolts with that, and the driver is handy for harder to reach spots. I mostly use the driver for screws tho, I've got a bauker one too and can't tell any difference in the two for DIY.

Been waiting a while to get the 20v tire inflator, they sell it on the parkside site but never seen it in the shops here sadly

mines seems to do the sames but its not from the motor/gearbox as the spinning bit of the tool itself is spinning fine just like yours.

i think its just a teeny tiny bit of slack in the holding mechanism that secures the bit inplace ( & pops it out at a fair old pace too when you press the release collar ) allowing it to wobble slightly at the very end ( a fact easier to see the longer the bit you put in there, its a much less noticable problem with a shorter bit and is not there when in use as the pressure applied to the end stops it wobbling.

Actually, while the tools come around fairly randomly, the batteries are in stock far more often. Basically, whenever any of the 20V tools are being sold which is probably close to 10 times a year they have the batteries. Never ones are now balanced too which should make them last a bit longer.

you recently missed the 20V orbital sander ( pictured by someone in here too ) it was instores in the uk back in late august ( but no doubt will be in again soon enough lol ) - i grabbed one along with a few other bits & bobs too ( sabre saw / sawzall type thing i think amongst others ) & liked it so much when i gave it a quick test before putting in the cupboard till i actually have a use for it as a sander i bought a 2nd when i next went instore so i could use it on the car as a polisher as its so much lighter & easier to use than the great stonking DA polisher i have lol - worked a treat with the smaller polishing pads i had knocking about too ( i thought about using just 1 as both a polisher & a sander but knowing my luck i would forget & leave the sanding disk on when i polished the car - thus a 2nd with NO sanding pads just to be safe lol )

also a few weeks before that they had in the 12v multitool & a few other bits in the 12V range too so grabbed a few bits from that range too ( & happy to report they have acually have come in useful lately too much to my suprise ) - the 12v multitool worked a treat on a bit of wood trimming for a drainage pipe behind a cupboard recently, gotta be careful where you place ur hand though if the 20V is anything like the 12V one though, on the 12V one i found it very easy to cover the motor cooling vents with the palm of my hand - found that out when it started getting toasty & shut off - fired up fine after a cooldown though

the little 12V angle grinder aint too bad a tool either for the use i have given it so far ( cutting a few threaded bars/bolts to shorter lengths & a couple of smaller light grinds to neaten up the ends of said cuts ) - seen a few comments elsewhere that its abit noddy of a tool but i suppose it depends what you want from it lol

Which store (just on the off-chance!!) is that?

Wombwell / Barnsley South Yorkshire ( the main barnsley town centre & mapplewell stores dont have any deals on the batteries )

if it is a go for you, they are in the plastic packaging & just check the back of the package where the barcode is as there should be a blue £5 sticker over the barcode - they had plenty of them about further instore on the shelves along with the newer boxed batteries that did NOT have the £5 sticker on the back too - mixed in with some that did )

had plenty in as of yesterday but not seen today if they are still on that low price now given the 20V tools are back in next week etc.

i would say its not a tool for wheel nuts sadly ( most cars need them on rather tight nowadays so i doubt this would cope ) but thats not to say its not usable for some car jobs elsewhere - its a tool thats on my hit list anyway - mainly for screws & such to take some stress of the drill but will come in handy for smaller jobs in the car if required too )

the little square adapter this come with is the small 1/4" adapter if i am correct, so would probably be fine for undoing / doin up various nuts & bolts upto 12/13mm or thereabout but should not go anywhere near the wheel nuts ( unless its just a quick spin-up to finger tight before you go ham with the torque wrench manually - for wheelnuts i defo would go for the big 20V impact wrench - its a monster ( well compared with my old battery impact it is anyway ) my old impact wrench was fine when used with standard sockets, the lidl one i have not dared try on standard sockets yet as its had enough ooomf to get the Halfords Advanced impact sockets i have toasty warm undoing the mechanics overtorqued wheelnuts & brake caliper bracket bolts on my mota so i have not dared go near standard sockets with it - the folks in europe have an even crazier one available to them too in the 20V Team Professional Range ( black n Silver with brushless motor - not green nd black and brushed motor ) - which i am eagerly waiting to see if we are blessed with it over here as i will defo get one of them if they appear as well as the one i have already ( up from 400 to 1200 nm - they may even have one thats even crazier too but its on a different battery system )
