Can't see any brushless options for drill or impact driver in this offer..

at this level I would ignore brushless anyway......you can replace brushes - very simply and for pennies....the deal is good (edited)

Was waiting for this but the choice of free tools seems pretty mediocre? I could maybe have a sander but the rest is a bit junky ....

If you're into camping the project light or inverter might be good. I know when we go camping, keeping the phone charged is difficult! To be able to stick a fast USB-C charger on the inverter would be great. The sander is new, that might be good. Or if you want a dremel type tool, the rotary tool looks good.

The inflator is pretty cheap, and the other inflator that also does mattresses etc. is much more useful. The hand vac looks pointless. The strimmer might be good if you don't have one. The buffer is always included in these! This buffer is random orbit so is a good one. The weed sprayer I have and it's good. The only thing is I didn't find it much more useful than a pump-action one in this country. Maybe if you have a quarter acre or something. (edited)

I got the previous model sander (r18ros-0) last year and have been really impressed with it. Surprisingly powerful and works great when paired with the 4ah and 5ah batteries. I think the new model is just minor improvements so I would think it should be just as good.

The tyre inflator is also pretty good and saves going to the garage for air or spending ages with a foot pump etc. We've used ours loads.

Seems pretty poor selection with prices upped by around £30 off their best prices to off-set the free tool?

This is a truly crap deal. The prices have been bumped up. The absolute top tier tools that Ryobi offer are crap compared to DeWalt, Bosch Pro, Milwaukee etc. and the tools on offer here are bottom of the barrel grade.

I get that it’s tempting to get 2 tools plus batteries and a charger for £150 but spend a bit more and get something that will actually last and do the job.

A few years back I bought the top drill, a 5.0ah battery and the big charger, and an air compressor. I got what I thought was a good deal because I only wanted the compressor/inflator. No one else had one available at the time. The quality of everything is rubbish. I’ve dropped my DeWalt down flights of concrete stairs and it’s still going strong. My Ryobi drill, and it’s warranty replacement, wouldn’t survive falling off the sofa.

Also: the batteries are meh. Even on sale they are usually way more expensive than other brand offerings. They also still use the ancient male-into-female connector system only found rubbish/cheap tools now, and Milwaukee 12v gear.

I ordered the chainsaw kit on Sunday (arrived yesterday) so just missed out on this offer. Have dropped them an email asking if there’s anything they can do.

    Is this a decent combo,
Is it the same drill in we each of.these sets?51276894-G5GTA.jpg

Am I missing something or is it restricted this year to sets direct from Ryobi?

Previous years 3rd party retailers like B&Q and Halfords have been eligible and that was normally where the best deals were especially when combining codes with BF or Xmas sales.
