Free in Doncaster, just put on fake plates and drive off, poor old Mirium across the road is getting loads of police visits though.

Problem still being you live in Doncaster

Cold from me - Asda used to do national pricing as a loss leader - the whole current price farce is as a result of them being taken over by the petrol retail brothers (frinting some Venture Capitalists) and scrapping that policy.

Not sure your reason is what the cold button is for mind you!

For some reason that side of Manchester is the cheapest anywhere in the country. Just shows what happens when one or 2 drop their prices, the rest follow.

Leeds isn't exactly far away yet they are all roughly 12p more there. There never used to be this massive difference everywhere. It's so stupid.

As I've said before local area price fixing, your comment proves it

I always fill up in Greater Manchester on a Saturday when I take my daughter to her football match. Much cheaper than Holmfirth/Huddersfield - 20 miles away! (edited)

I always top up the tank with Millers Power Eco Max when using supermarket fuels

Expecting Domino's to scrap their 2.50 delivery charge that they brought in due to rising fuel costs any minute then..... :/

Prices have been confirmed to be coming down in the next 14 days.
Better off waiting for any (further) reductions

Same at Morrisons in Hyde. Not really a deal as such but, yeah, cheapest I've seen it in a while.

Not nationwide, Asda Small Heath, Birmingham is 144.7.

Last week I put petrol in Bham for 1.47, went to Manchester to see family and there was a Sainsbury's past Stockport which had petrol for 1.31. Did the decent thing and put £50 in.

Back in Bham couple of days later and still 1.45 ish here. Def cheaper Manchester sides.

I just checked my travel app it was Oldham St, Denton. (edited)

Blackburn is rip off for fuel - home of the euorgarage brothers...would think they would do it cheap for their locals, but no.
    147p for petrol
    167p for diesel
    As of 2nd march 2023
    Jay_m's avatar
You act like there is no sainsburys or tescos selling fuel in Blackburn

Prices are supposed to come down within the next couple of weeks.

    Where’ve you got this from?
  16. Davidp87's avatar
So the delivery charges companies tacked on will be removed when prices drop the further 10p they’re supposed to? Lol I doubt it but it’d be nice

Way more at my local Asda. Ever since those brothers took over Asda there's been much less competition.
  18. jase.2's avatar
This is more than it was in feb so really hot when it’s a price increase lol

It seems sainsburys and asda are having a diesel war in ashton under lyne

61.9 per litre of fuel In 1999. I'm pretty sure In 24years my wages haven't more than doubled to pay for this. Time machine would be great to think come forward to 2023 we would celebrate over £1.30 per litre. (edited)
    spikyhedgehog1's avatar
1999: 61.9p is 137.2p in 2023 prices, so it’s actually cheaper today than in 1999 (edited)
  21. liz.scollon's avatar
That's more than Costco at Haydock and I thought that was going the right way at 155.9 for diesel
  22. GiddyUpKramer's avatar
    Perfect for my cereal, thanks!
  23. hellbentondeals's avatar
I got some the other day from there at £1.317! Wished I'd filled up. Just been back to full up. Still the same price
  24. rudey_valentino's avatar
    thats cheaper than costco
  25. heathead's avatar
Shame Asda scrapped their national pricing scheme. When your local Asda is more expensive than a Shell garage on the A55, you know you're being ripped off. No longer the same image I once held for this company.
  26. megza1987's avatar
£1.387 at Asda in Wolstanton. Asda are the cheapest in Stoke.
  27. samanthagreenwood56's avatar
Not quite sure why hot UK deals removed my comment about it being the same price at sainsburys Denton? All I said is that its the same price but that you also get nectar points!!
