Bowers & Wilkins sound

An exclusive speaker design by legendary audio engineers Bowers & Wilkins delivers thrillingly lifelike performance. Up-firing speakers let you get the most out of Dolby Atmos. A central tweeter keeps the dialogue pristine no matter how intense the drama gets.

4 sided Ambilight

With Philips 4 sided Ambilight, every moment feels closer. Intelligent LEDs around the edge of the TV respond to the on-screen action and emit an immersive glow that's simply captivating. Experience it once and wonder how you enjoyed TV without it.

Mini LED TV

Your Philips Mini LED TV supports all major HDR formats and gives you a truly impressive big-screen picture with deep blacks and lifelike colours. Over a thousand intelligent backlight zones are independently dimmed or brightened to enable pin-sharp contrast and real depth.

P5 engine with AI

Philips P5 processor with AI delivers a picture so real it feels like you could step right into it. A deep-learning AI algorithm processes images in a manner similar to the human brain. No matter what you're watching, you get lifelike detail and contrast, rich colour and smooth motion.

Dolby Vision + Dolby Atmos

Support for Dolby's premium sound and video formats means that the HDR content that you watch will look—and sound—glorious. You'll enjoy a picture that reflects the director's original intentions and experience spacious sound with real clarity and depth.

HDMI 2.1 VRR and low latency

Your Philips TV boasts the latest HDMI 2.1 connectivity and automatically switches to an ultra-low-latency setting when you start playing a game on your console. VRR and Freesync are supported for smooth fast-action gameplay. Ambilight's gaming mode brings the thrill right into the room.

Premium materials

Every inch of this TV looks and feels premium. The brushed and polished silver metal bezel. The angled sound enclosure clad in Kvadrat speaker fabric. The soft, textured leather-backed remote. Why settle for anything less?

Simply smart. Android TV

Your Philips Android TV gives you the content you want—when you want it. You can customise the home screen to display your favourite apps, making it simple to start streaming the movies and shows you love. Or pick up where you left off.

DTS Play-Fi compatible

With DTS Play-Fi on your Philips TV you can connect to compatible speakers in any room. Got wireless speakers in the kitchen? Listen to the film while you make a snack or keep up with the sports commentary while you get everyone drinks.

Just got this and it's an amazing TV. Ignore the doubters. Ambilight and soundbar are both impressive. No blooming whatsoever on clips of gravity with Sandra bullock on youtube. Lovely dark blacks. Android TV is slightly clunky only bad thing I can say. Absolute bargain.

Doubters? It's hardware limited, that's not an opinion.

It's meant to be HDMI 2.1 yet the Mediatek SOC chip can't manage the full spec and halves the vertical resolution in 4k when using VRR. But as long as Sandy looks ok in a few youtube clips it's worth £1300.. This sums up HUKD to a tee (edited)

ignore those, mostly from people who don't have a clue.

Head over to AVForums, this TV has plenty of issues

How does Mini-LED compare to regular LCD and OLED? Is it just a fancier version of Samsung's QLED? Ive been out of the tech loop for a bit!

Google it as it's fairly detailed.

Long story short - LED with higher contrast, better local dimming due to more zones, usually brighter, no burn in.

Still doesn't rival OLED. Only Sony seem able to get a decent dimming algorithm.

This seems to be the cheapest 75 inches Mini LED TV in the market at the moment. This has Ambilight and a soundbar which others don't and yet it is the cheapest.

Theres a good reason for that, this TV does not make use of any of the benefitrs of Mini LED, it may as well be a standard LCD.

Good deal for a mini-LED TV with Ambilight and an integrated soundbar. The 65 inch is discounted too: costco.co.uk/TVs…707

Just dropped from £1800 to £1600 on Costco in case it helps anyone who missed out.

Still early days (haven't tested much HDR content) but I'm fairly happy with mine tbh!
