Just bought this one to replace my 55C635K that didn't get any updates, so disappointed by TCL support.

I have found this guy who is selling calibrated settings payhip.com/Per…835

Gonna try them as soon as I receive the tv

There are some videos on YouTube also

Calibrated settings as in what? Moving your sliders for you?
How does he know how you like it?

Why the C745K,£799 is more expensive than the C845. (edited)

    Don't know where your looking?

    The c635k, c735k, c835k are all 2022 models.

    The c645k, c745k, c845k are all 2023 models.

There is no c846k it's a c845k. There is a c935k in TCL's model range, but I'm not sure if it's available in the UK.

The c835k and c845k are both mini led back lit with qled screens. All the other lower models are led back lit with fald (full array local dimming)

This had just been reviewed by Vincent on HDTV Test. It has a number of issues but at this price is amazing value.

I think the recent review you are referring to is for this year's model (C845), the
C835 was reviewed last year. But both have some 'issues' just like all TV's

Seems a good price but only 1 year Manufacturer Warranty.

That's appears to be Hughes standard blurb. Says the same for Hisense Tv's

TCL/Hisense actually get 2 Years (Confirmed on website)

If I hadn't bought the recent Samsung QN85A deal for £699 I would have bought this for sure. Heat from me

I can't seem to be able to apply the code. Ebays says that this code should be only for refurbished items, though.

What are peoples opinions on this TV? Looking to replace an old plasma that has bit the dust.

First impressions are good. Only had it for a couple of days so still messing around with the various settings. Picture quality seems very good, it's bright and there is no glare or reflection from the windows even though it's in a bright room. Sound is surprisingly good
