With PLAYMOBIL's new Star Trek ship - Commander Kruge's Klingon Bird-of-Prey, Star Trek fans can travel to different worlds in the Federation, the Klingon Empire, or even the Genesis planet.

PLAYMOBIL`s Bird-of-Prey with Lights and Original Sounds is based on the movie from the 80s Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and expands the PLAYMOBIL Star Trekuniverse. Explore the legendary starship with many mechanical and electronic functions and meet one of the most notorious Klingons, Commander Kruge. Kruge's crew, Admiral Kirk and Mr. Spock as well as the planet Genesis are also included in this playset.

Another legendary spaceship makes its way into the PLAYMOBIL Star Trek universe: the Klingon ship Bird-of-Prey. Explore the legendary starship and meet one of the most notorious Klingons in the Star Trek world, Commander Kruge. Admiral Kirk, Mr. Spock, Klingon Maltz and two more of Kruge's crew members, are also included.

The PLAYMOBIL Bird-of-Prey spaceship is equipped with many characteristic details of the film original which is known from the 80s film Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. The roof of the bridge is removable, and there is room for two figures inside thanks to the adjustable seat.

Light and sound effects from the film provide an authentic Star Trek feeling. Use the four colored buttons on the ship's hull to trigger a variety of sound effects, including ambient mode, firing sequence, an assortment of Klingon phrases and warp mode. Furthermore, interchangeable slides inserted into the cockpit display trigger a variety of corresponding light and sound effect sequences.

Stage the iconic battle between the U.S.S. Enterpriseand the Klingon commander over the Genesis planet, or set off on all-new space adventures!

The wings can be simultaneously moved into three different positions and each are outfitted with a functioning cannon, bringing the action to life. For collector's looking to showcase rather than play, use the included pedestal or hanging system to display this piece in a spot of honor. Recommended for fans ten years and up.

My wife might (but probably not) give me a pass if it were Lego.
But spending a ton and apple core on Playmobil would be justified grounds for divorce.
Who’s this set aimed at?  Original Star Trek 6 year olds?

Sorry for this op. Probably a good deal, just seems a bit weird.  Anyway I’ll chuck you some heat.

    Who needs a wife anyway
Definitely aimed at adult collectors and if this was LEGO then I’d pick it up for sure
Looks fun but I don’t need it. I really don’t need it, lol

    Where's all the TNG stuff???

This style of BOP ship is in TNG
I guess they’ll get to TNG eventually and I think other than the Enterprise, the BOP is the most iconic Trek ship.
    Also it’s cool
