Bought a Jamie Oliver one in tkmaxx the other day for £5, this is cold.

Similar were £3.99 at Home And Bargain last year. Don't know if they still stock them but worth a look. Mine still going strong.

Whilst a pizza stone is ok (better than an oven rack on it's own, it does rely on thermodynamics different materials heating faster / slower than others.

Where these fail somewhat is the fact that they often require more temp time than a modern oven takes to heat up in order to see the effect of crisping the bottom out, often utterly useless if you are in a rush so simply pop in a pizza from frozen & oven from cold, & expect it to perform.

As an alternative, (& plugging dunelm again here ...a not bad, light & cheap alternative (especially for the cold oven cold pizza shovers in) is a string fibre type crosshatch material shoved under the pizza, they sell em for helping out oven chips crisp up too, ..not brilliant but not bad either, ..worth mentioning.

Except is not half price, it's half price plus a substantial delivery charge.
The total cost including delivery should be in the title, not having the silent charge tucked away at the very end of the description

Did you order one? Seems reasonably priced to me. Making scratch pizzas is so easy and fun...promise me you won't be using it just to reheat Chicago town stuff? If you make bread you will notice the difference in the crust and spring of the bread / pizza when using a well-warmed stone or similar device. Very different to a baking tray. Uri

Calm down, he's just annoyed that he discovered the deal and was waiting, but now his chances have been drastically cut by people queuing up to get free knives, most of whom probably don't even need them. Seems fair enough to me, even if it's not in the 'spirit' of the site

For anyone concerned about this brand, ProCook products are really good quality. I've lost count of the number of times I've gone for another brand and then ended up buying their version to replace it. Always bought from their outlet shop at Junction 32, Castleford though.

Thanks Gooner, it worked after I put in my address!

Voted cold for no reason mwahaaahaha

These are always this price. They have an shop in livingston where they sell these knifes at this price everyday.

In other words because you cannot purchase them from anyone but themselves (through thier amazon shop or thier own website) they have overinflated the RRP to make you think you are getting a good deal.

They are good knives though, just not a deal.

Badly designed, and overpriced, according to the reviews.
The blade is positioned square on to what it is cutting, instead of being set at an angle, or a V, so instead of slicing through the food, it produces more of a chopping action. This is a bit like trying to cut through a hardish cheese by resting the cutting edge of a knife blade on top of it, and just pressing down with your hand on the blunt edge of the blade. The blade might go through with the help of a hammer, but just using hand pressure won't get you very far.

I eat spaghetti every other day so I know I'd use it a lot and if this site voted on how much use the items were getting as opposed to whether it was cheap then every deal would be cold because let's face it 90% of everything bought by people on this site is because it's cheap for what it us instead of them really needing it and actually going to
Use it numerous times. (_;)

Wait for them to come back on Special Offer at Aldi. Only 14.99 there.

My husband bought me one 2 years ago and it's been used twice. It's expensive to make cos u need loads of eggs and then even though it says you can dry it and keep it in a jar, it just goes mouldy.

Ask yourself.......how many times would I actually use this once the novelty has worn off.

Good price with extra attachments our kids love making there own tea and it does taste better than dried, that's a fact. Heat
