Not a good deal when you consider the cost (both economic and environmental) of production and similarly the cost of disposal. Cheap to buy usually means there is a bigger cost to be paid somewhere along the line
Mmm HotUKDeals always criticising a saving. Well £35.95 for 4 knifes even if they only last a year seems a good deal to me. Light in hand sharp and better than the Jamie Oliver coloured set I was bought.
Blade is carbon steel, so is great to hold a sharp edge, but do take care of it if you want it to last - no leaving it in the sink or the dishwasher. Block works really well for any carbon steel knife (as opposed to cheap stainless steel ones). When I purchased I read all the reviews - mostly really positive as am I with the purchase - A bargin at this price
Only 1 year guarantee for a quality set of knives? Hmmmm................
I paid £10 for these from the outlet without the stand and they are rubbish... wouldn't recommend
