Absolutely agree but having trawled through several reviews out there that all came to the same conclusion about Pure VPN I have no confidence in the product at present. If i read a decent review that states that the shortcomings have been plugged then I will start using it again. For anyone worried about their security there are a number of VPN/DNS test sites online. Just Google it. If they come back with details of your service provider and actual ip address whilst your VPN is activated then its time to change VPN provider. You might also want to check whether they keep logs of your activity which I understand Pure VPN does.
Plenty of fake user-reviews as well: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/purevpn.com Amazon is the best retailer/company I've ever dealt with, but as 'perfect' as they are, even they won't have such a good score!
I think have a couple of years left on my Pure VPN subscription. I would like to see a recent in depth review giving it the all clear before I would put it back on any of my pc's laptops or tablets. Given the nunmber of subscribers they have worldwide surely they are in a position to sort out the leakage and other security issues highlighted in reviews
Thanks for the warning - couldn't follow your link as the HUKD site truncated it incorrectly - here it is again: https://restoreprivacy.com/purevpn-review/ Edit: Strange, working fine now!
I have been using Pure VPN for about 18 months without a problem. However I read an article that suggested that it was worse than having no VPN at all in that it gives you a false sense of security. Basically it leaks. You might want to read this review before purchasing. https://restoreprivacy.com/purevpn-review/ . I have switched to Nord VPN which is an awful lot safer.
