I’ve been waiting for a deal like this. But I can’t pull the trigger on this. Paying for delivery on a £380 item is crazy nowadays. And 3 month warranty on an item this expensive and refurbished is not confidence inspiring. I thought 1 year warranty on tech is an industry standard. Yes, I know for £30 you can extend this warranty to 1 year but then its £410 which anit as good of a deal. Just look at all the “good” condition refurbished iPhones with 1 year warranties. Personally I’m gonna wait for the ebay promo codes to come back around.

Also cant find any mention of the original box. Seems like you just get a cable and the device not even the plug is mentioned.

    “What's in the box

A charging cable will be provided. However, no further accessories are included unless otherwise stated in the description below.”

    Still heat added great find.

I don't believe the ally comes with anything else just the charger to begin with 🤷 at least, mines didn't come with anything else minus the usual paperwork rubbish

Title says extreme, description says normal so be careful.

3 months warranty is concerning on a device which was only ‘new’ a few months ago, as is the fact that they are having to be refurbished and then sold off cheaply. In 91 days you could have a very expensive piece of eWaste… why include such a short warranty? Suggests whatever fix/repair has occurred can’t be trusted to last?

Showing £429 now anyway, and that's for a refurb! (edited)

Not sure if it's linked to the refurb or an error with the listing, but it shows as non-touchscreen

It’s not bad if you’re willing to take it apart and add a bigger ssd but one charging port, ongoing sd card issues and short battery life made it not viable for me to keep mine. I’m just fussy though and a mix of Steam Deck and Switch cover most of my handheld needs, plus I’m starting to play around with the Onexplayer X1 now and have the Legion Go and a few others I haven’t parted with yet. I’m surprised more handhelds haven’t used the variable refresh rate but that’s the only thing I see that the Rog Ally has over others. .

Seems a great price and I'm pretty tempted just out of curiosity. But I just can't get over the thick black bezels on the display or how cheap and plastic-y the thing looks. I bought an Ayaneo 2 almost 2 years ago that looks like it blows this out of the water, build quality wise, albeit it was much more expensive. Also, why no black version? (edited)

The black bezels are not actually distracting to be fair you forget they are there it feels decently solid in the hand no flex etc and the plastic is decent feeling

I'm in no hurry to move from my Steamdeck right now, Windows for gaming Handheld really needs refining and a lot of of issues fixing before I jump ship (edited)

Buy it group are just shoddy at best, cant even get the basics like the description right

The ebay listing got taken off here earlier today for this because they didn't have a high enough feedback rating was like 91%.

No way be shifting 400 quid to them at all
