Was just going to post this....very tempted...I know it's steel but it is not heavier than my Cannondale Synapse coming in at 10.2kg.

Anyone have one and have any feedback? I love the look and the thought of having a classic looking steel frame seems a good idea for long days in the saddle for some reason :-)

I don't have this, but I have the Carbon Aero bike from Ribble.

It's a very good bike, only weighs 7 kg and is very fast, but Ribble has a tendency to use non-standard parts that only they can replace. For example, the derailer hanger in my bike snapped recently, and I couldn't find a replacement anywhere. I phoned Ribble, and they don't provide a replacement for it anymore because the bike is 5–6 years old. I've had to find another hanger and adapt it to fit, much to my dismay.

I find this very irritating. I was without a bike for a good 2-3 weeks, and it's just a small little piece of metal.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a Ribble bike again. (edited)

How come all these bike are 50% lately, is the market crashing?

They were overpriced since the pandemic. With more supplying they started tTogo back to what they used to be in price

I wonder if it's actually in stock, or do you place your order and put up with months of broken promises about delivery until it eventually turns up?

Unless you live close by but otherwise not cheap.

Bargain these guys must be close to going to the wall like many other uk bike suppliers - deals like this will be making them zero cash (edited)

Not if they are getting the Winspace bulk trade pricing on the carbon stuff …

Wonder why they don't stick a steel fork on this?

    Cost I guess.

It's for performance; carbon forks are pretty common due to their increased comfort and reduced road buzz. And I'd have thought carbon would be more expensive if anything.

Does cycle to work scheme make sense?

Some employers are really quick getting the letter approved, others are terrible... My previous company used to have 24h turnaround, some friends had to wait up to 2-3 months.
If you can get it quick, of course... (edited)

This is cheaper than what they sell the frame for alone. Does anyone think this has the mounting points for hydraulics in the frame and fork?

Mine turned up today, lovely bike!

Could it be driven occassionaly on tracks, outside roads?
or could I change tyres for such performances without need of changing tyres often?
    Thanks
