Bought last summer. Daughter used it on a 7 day holiday and zip stitching all came loose and left a hole. Had to return for a refund. Obviously won’t happen to everyone but the stitching didn’t look great quality on either case and may not last. They do offer a 10 yr guarantee having said that so could be risked.

As you say not the same for everyone, I had this set for years. I travel a lot, I’m usually out of the country for 6-7 months for work, and the often go on holidays for the weeks I’m not working (Month on Month off). They did extremely well, until the big case was damaged by a baggage car running over it, I was told.

This is exactly my concern with expensive, or more importantly expensive looking luggage.

It's just marketing though - they look like bog standard grey suitcases

Decent price, good product. Not overly secure but should be fine for most use cases (pun not intended).

    The weight specifications are:
    Cabin: 6.6 kg
    Large: 10.8 kg
    Isn't this excessively high?

Its not that weight. I got this deal 2 years ago. Cases are very light weight. Ok quality. Only issue is carry on case has no lock. I paid £120 2 years ago.

Can't find on Samsonite website, is this gonna be a subpar quality version they don't sell themselves but allow third party?

Just be careful with Costco, I’ve found this out to my cost with a failed American Tourister case that is 18 months old.

They are now only refunding on returns under their satisfaction guarantee in the first year. If the product fails and you return it for a refund they tell you to claim under warranty of the manufacturer if it’s outside that first year. I asked what would have happened if there was no warranty and was told there would be nothing Costco would do.

Usually Costco are great for returns but this surprised me.
